Thanks for the update and improvements! The charging switch in the app is more responsive now! Wish I can have the option control it directly from the widget.

The new software update fixed a number of issues. I have 2 battery cases. The 1st case new software installed easily. 2nd case it wouldn’t install. Phil was quick to offer a solution and now both cases work great.

I love my Moment lenses and had a reg. Moment case, so I updated to a battery case. Unfortunately, I am unable to update at all. Nothing I’ve tried works. Would love to begin using it. Any suggestions?

I’ve always enjoyed my Moment battery case whether using the lens or just taking advantage of the extra battery power. The app was cool too, especially in conjunction with the shutter button and just keeping track of power usage. It’s been great but lately the case has failed to charge. I thought maybe there was a fix in one of the updates but seems like that made it worse. Before the update the case would at least charge up to 50%. I reached out to Moment and got a couple responses from someone named Phil or maybe Phil is a Moment-Bot because the responses only made Phil look like he doesn’t read and/or comprehend very well. See ya Moment! It was fun while it worked! Update: I’ve got to retract my statement and say that Phil is the best and Moment is great! They reached out and straightened everything out. It’s been great customercare and service. Great service inspires customer satisfaction so I couldn’t resist pre-ordering their new Anamorphic lens. Appreciate the help Moment! Had to update the stars... Peace!

I struggled for days to get the update to work, but once Phil got in touch with me he gave me the “fix” and everything works perfectly!!! I love my DSLR, but having lost my IPhone in the North Sea once, it’s great to have a case that I can put a strap on!!! I’ve bought almost all the lenses and the case is the icing on the cake. Great product and customer service.
Overheats Phone

My iPhone X rapidly overheats when starting to film with this app in 4K60. It starts as dropped frames in the recording and the progressively gets so bad that the phone burns to hold and crashes. It’s odd because the standard iOS camera app works just fine in 4K60. Hopefully they fix this soon.
Poor App Design Led to 720p Recording

I just LOVE that the app is setup to automatically record at 720p instead of 1080! I’m SO glad that I chose to use this app with your lenses I had purchased and not the default iPhone app, which would have recorded in full res. THANK YOU SO MUCH for wasting my trip to gather extra footage and HIDING the resolution settings in the menu system in a way that’s difficult to discover in daylight. Wow, I should send you an invoice for my gas and trip expenses.
