04/2021 update: thanks again for updating the app again. Once again the app is working. Update: I received an email from support (which was great) to call for help. Unfortunately when I call I get hung up on after explaining my problem. So, the app is still broken and customer support doesn’t exist. This app works great when the developer updates it, however when Apple updates their phones the developer doesn’t update the app and it stops working again. Please continually update the app! It worked again finally after the last update 6 days ago but not with a new Apple update that just came it doesn’t work again.

I just had my shades installed and was working through the PowerView setup when I came across a terribly annoying bug. Apparently in the PowerView app you cannot use an apostrophe in a blind or Room name. This causes issues when integrating with HomeKit. The PowerView app constantly reports conflicts with HomeKit and now I cannot sync my scenes over until I remove the apostrophe to fix the conflict.

I have been using this for about 8 months and it is working very well, most of the smart things apps like LG network, smart home are not as reliable as this app. Kudos to the team !

Update. Called PowerView helpline. Still does not work! Was told from a dealer maybe need a new hub for $185 bucks. It’s not even 5 years old! We spent a lot to get the connectivity and does not work. Helplines and hunter douglas not useful. Several times now it seems the app no longer communicates with my shades! I’ve cleared and started over to get it to work but getting tired of this. The shades are in my app but the app won’t actually move anything. Pretends to be doing something and says done and nothing moves. Not worth the money if it can’t reliably work. Might as well go to ikea shades.

You can do a lot more with the app than you can do with the remotes. Highly recommend taking the time to set favorites.
Horrible connectivity

I’ve set up with my home WiFi 4 times now, each time i try to use this app it diverts me to “remote connect” where you can’t do anything! So frustrating. Will NOT recommend this app or the automated blinds to anyone.
