Hello, I’ve been selling on Poshmark for a while. It used to be great and I LOVED IT!! However as of late no one including myself is getting as much sales because they changed the search from “just shared” to “recommended” this ruins it for big time resellers like myself. It’s terrible.
New update inefficient for buyers and sellers

This new update - showing items by relevancy and not share date - is not helpful for buyers or sellers. Sellers are not getting the exposure from sharing- then why even have this as an option? And buyers are seeing listings shared 2 years ago that are run by inactive accounts at the top of the page. Completely useless and hurting sales on both sides

Did not have a great experience they suspended my account because I was supposedly selling counterfeit products when I had only posted twice and was selling two of my dresses and took them off for a lady that said she’s buy them but then didn’t so I tried to post them again and I feel like she was the one that reported my account or something and I contacted postmark through the aid email and they said that my account would stay suspended and that’s it even after I explained what happened, absolutely the worst like I’m just trying to get rid of my dresses that I don’t have a use for and are just taking up space I’m my closet
New update is no good

Be very aware that this week’s update has just made selling on Poshmark infinitely much harder. They changed the search sort default to ‘recommended’ over ‘just shared’. Many of us have noticed our sales have basically stopped this week. Now there is no way for sellers to promote their items. Before, self shares would push your items to the top of the search results. Now, items with super basic titles are being favored by the algorithm. Think ‘blue top’ over Banana Republic Perplum Shirt Blue Size 10. This does not help buyers find what they are looking for. Poshmark has huge problems with fakes/replicas being sold, creepy men asking for inappropriate photos, inactive sellers, sellers that don’t ship, etc…All of these issues are driving buyers off the app. So why not fix these issues first? Instead the app decide to kill the one thing that made it great, the ability to make good/easy sales over other platforms. This is going to push both buyers and sellers off Posh. Because now it’s really hard to justify that 20% fee.

Was a fan of Poshmark until they recently changed sort order on Search from recently shared to Recommended. Results are returning crap posts from fake accounts. My Sales have basically stopped.
The new search algorithm is NOT acceptable!!!

We absolutely DO NOT want the new recommended search algorithm to be implemented. BRING BACK our just shared algorithm INSTEAD!!!! We will boycott the app if they do not go back to the just shared search algorithm!!
Add tall size search options

Lots of negative changes lately

I have been selling on poshmark for 2 years now. As long as I was consistently adding new listings daily, I was having lots of sales daily. This has been heaven sent, and has allowed me to bring in extra income as a stay at home parent. However, in the last few months, something has changed for the worse. My sales are down 60% even though I am listing more than ever. The foot traffic to my closet has disappeared. I used to wake up in the morning to hundreds of follows, likes, and multiple sales and offers. Now I’ll see just a few new likes, hardly the activity I used to get. What’s going on Poshmark??? Are you shadow banning people? Is it rolling servers? Also, I’ve noticed the search feature has been changed. It now defaults to ‘Recommended’ instead of ‘Just Shared’ and pulls up a bunch of random junk, so users are having a hard time searching for specific items and brands. Why fix something that wasn’t broken?? Please, reverse all of the negative changes, as they are hurting not only sellers like myself, but also Poshmark’s own bottom line! I’m considering leaving poshmark for a different selling platform if nothing changes.

Used to love this app but ever since their last update it’s just trash. Everyone’s sales are dropping and every single seller group I’m in is complaining about it. I’ll leave my listings up since they’re already there, but if it stays like this I don’t see myself bothering to sell on this platform. Very disappointing to say the least. I used to make 2-6 sales daily and I’ve had 4 all week even though I’m listing and sharing more than ever before. Awful.
