I have been a Poshmark seller for 4 years now, I have been supplementing my family’s income during that time and can’t afford to lose this income. Ever since Poshmark updated the app to show “recommended” items by default instead of “just shared”, my sales, and overall engagement has absolutely TANKED! I am extremely disappointed and am in fear of having to switch to a different platform. I spend entirely too much time working within the app to have my efforts be in vain. This is taking food directly out of my childrens mouths! FIX IT! Poshmark wouldn’t be anywhere without it’s sellers! And we sellers are NOT HAPPY!!!

I am very disappointed and discouraged as Poshmark has made changes in the app that has caused very low sales. This change is making it very difficult for Poshmark resellers to make sales which is affecting our businesses.

Since I’m new seller on Poshmark I put so much time, money & efforts to make sales. I was happy and loved Poshmark in January but since new update had been in effect I don’t have sales at all!! The search algorithm has to be back to the same way as it used to be (showing ‘just shared’ items first). Otherwise what’s the profit for Poshmark corporation if everybody’s sales went down?

What is this new auto relevance/recommended feature for sorting? It’s annoying and doesn’t work, and everyone’s sales have tanked. Don’t do this to your sellers who have faithfully handed you 20% commission for years. Don’t fix what isn’t broken.

ETA 2/13/22- DOWNLOAD MERCARI!!! Better in so many ways! Better shipping options, good customer service, lower fees & more categories to sell!!! Great for buyer AND seller! ORIGINAL 1 star review: High selling fees, HORRID customer service, expensive shipping costs but still a good way to sell unwanted clothes for easy money. Better than dealing with meeting people by selling of Facebook marketplace and easier shipping than eBay (for seller since prices are pre-set).

I like this app and the sweet communications between the ladies my only thing is that these women want extra good deals meaning they try to get your things for a lot less making offers so it’s more of a hippy style market where you gotta keep dropping your prices to sell and that doesn’t always make sense especially selling designer pieces, I honestly end up keeping a lot of my pieces rather than sell them that cheap.

I love posh because I make a really good living on it. BUT there is little to NO support. Buyers can open a case against you with no previous sales or purchases and even if u are a 5 star seller been doin this for years with a great customer service rating, posh will almost always rule against you. Earlier this week I lost a lot of faith in Poshmark in general when the entire premise for the app was changed. They told us time and again "if you share your closet often and have long titles, you will make sales". All of a sudden they have changed it and now sales for everyone have plummeted. Most sellers I know are disapointed enough to stop using Poshmark and are currently trying other apps so we can all get rid of Poshmark. Advise to anyone looking to start selling, go to Mercari. Now it's much better than posh. We are all disapointed in you Poshmark.
