I don’t usually rate anything but the developers of this app need to be aware that their recent changes to the algorithm are ridiculous! No longer are ‘Just Shared’ items at the top of a search! WTHeck! So tell me what is the point in repeatedly sharing my items if they are going to be buried? Sellers that haven’t been active for weeks or even months are being promoted over sellers that share their items ALL DAY LONG! I am a top seller and these new changes have cut into my sales and my profits. This is NOT a side hustle for me. It is my job! I put a lot of time, effort and work into this only to have it not even matter. As a seller this is bad enough; but then as a buyer it’s even worse! I can’t even find items as easily! It is a complete hodge-podge of barely relevant items. A real nightmare. So these changes have made it hard for people to search for items AND made it difficult for items to be promoted PROPERLY. As in the old algorithm. Last shared as opposed to Recommendations. *Recommendations are an opinion.* Not a need or fact or even something a buyer is looking for. So by sorting by recommendations you are basically limiting a buyers choices and nixing potential sales.
Bring back old algorithm

Poshmark was great up until this most recent update making it VERY hard for us resellers to be seen. If this update is not fixed, myself and other poshers will have to take our business to other selling platforms.

There was no warning that they would change the search for items and now that it goes to recommended it has slowed sales due to less impulse buys on recently shared items. It makes it harder as a buyer too. Its now made for people searching for A SPECIFIC item instead of stumbling by a cute shirt that was shared and getting a good offer on. Im hopeful Poshmark will change this but until the. i wont be posting any new items and my rating stays at 1 star.
Please change it back to the old algorithm!

Ever since the recent algorithm change, my sales are non existent, and I used to actually do pretty ok on Posh. Plus you’re not even given information by poshmark on how to even be seen anymore, what’s “recommended” anyway?? How about changing it back to where the most recently shared is shown first so there’s something that comes from all the sharing I have been doing… As an experiment I spent most of the last 2 days sharing sharing sharing way more than I’ve ever done before and it’s complete crickets. Whoever thought this was a good idea got it wrong. Super bummed!! Poshmark was how I was making enough every month to start paying down medical bills not to mention help put food on the table. Some people actually rely on this income, it’s not just a hobby!!

No customer support or service, no way to communicate with a seller, no follow up when you ‘comment’ platform is full of fraudulent posts. PM refused to refund money for an item advertised as ‘worn once like new’ when they were worn hundreds of times and worthless. This is a great platform if you’re looking for a place to sell knockoffs and worn out garbage. Otherwise don’t waste your time or money. Best part is the ‘free shipping’ for a new customer however they allow 24 hours to make a purchase order hike none of their sellers respond because there is no direct communication. TOTAL SCAM!
