About Audio Burn-in
Our Audio Burn-in tool is the process of exercising new audio equipment. The main purpose of the burn-in process is to loosen the diaphragm of a newly crafted headphone and to stress the headphone driver. Most headphones require at least 40 hours of burn-in time to reach their optimal performing state. Most audiophiles agree that the sound quality will be noticeably improved after burn-in.
Directions:
1. Download the JLab Audio + Burn-in Tool App
2. Connect your headphones to your device and visit the Burn-in Page within the app
3. Play the file at medium volume (don't listen!). Our proprietary file contains a mix of white noise, pink noise, radio noise, frequency sweeps. We recommend playing for 4-5 hours per day until you get to a total of 40 hours.

It’s just a store app. You have to sign up for the actual burn in (and ads/promotions), but then it’s just a downloadable file.
App is just to collect your data. Deceptive app.

This app is just a ploy to get you to put in your email address. So they can send things. App also is running audio when not turned on. App doesn’t even give you the burn in. It just takes you to another site to put in your info and download it. Apple should take this app down.

What’s the point of downloading an app for the burn in tool if I have to supply my email? Just so they can market to me? Gonna return the buds because of this. Zero stars.

So it says that it is an audio burn in app, but you have to enter your email and they send you the file via email. You can't do the burn in from within this app which is BS.

I like JLab and their products. Like other reviews point out this is a worthless app. I downloaded it for the burn in track which I have to put my email address in every time I want to use the burn in feature. They promise that it is a continuous track that you can use to burn in new headphones. It’s 18 mins long and I’ll be damned if I can figure out how to make it repeat. Easier to find a track on YouTube or Amazon music to burn your stuff in.

You can just google burn in audio files, don’t download this. It’s literally a store to buy the earbuds you probably already have. I guess 1/5 since it’s the lowest I can go. Terrible
Idea
Takes too long to pick a name
Maybe if you want repeat customers you should try supporting America a bit more. We liked your product and want to support an American company so we ordered another speaker, only before it got here we received an email explaining how JLab was going to add 25% to the price tag in support of China. You know we would gladly spend that 25% extra to employee an American. Needless to say returned the speaker the same day it arrived. Thanks for nothing. Maybe you should relocate to China

I downloaded the app thinking that it would be a resource for the product I already own. I thought I could update, change and even locate my headphones through this app. However the app is more less for new customers. So it’s pretty pointless..
