Not Happy With The New Update

I love Poshmark and the opportunity it has given me to make extra income but this new update that they released has greatly impacted my sales along with many poshers I know in a negative way. Please fix this!!!

The jeans I received were not the ones advertised. They were a black color. Took forever to get. Just not pleased with them

Poshmark used to be great but they changed their algorithm and now the search feature brings up old and inactive posts instead of the most recent shared or posted.

This new “recommended” setting is killing everyone’s sales, mine included. The “just shared” option was so much better as it gave everyone who shared exposure. This new setting is only exclusive to certain key words and generic wording so 95% of listings won’t show up. Sharing is practically pointless now. No shopper is going to manually change the search options to “just shared.” They’ll be stuck with recommended and wonder why the listings at the top are so poorly drafted.

I truly love being a member of Poshmark. I have been a stay at home Mom since my son was born. He has Autism and it was necessary for me to not return to work, to be available for him. It’s impossible to work in retail management when you are only available school days. I was a store manager before that and I really missed working. Poshmark has given me the outlet I needed to keep working and making some money. It has helped with my depression. It gives me a sense of accomplishment and a work platform where I can create my own schedule and essentially work as much as I want to. I love that it is a community of people who help each other by sharing each others listings and offering help to those who need it. The parties are fun too. Really its a brilliant, successful strategy. So many people use it and there are so many new members every day. I never have to lower prices to move an item because there are new members every day and eventually the right buyer joins and finds it. I love that my customers are genuinely thrilled with their purchases. Making people happy while making some money and having some sense of a job/purpose is awesome! The best part is that you can do it from home, around your own schedule and it only costs money when you make a sale. I have met some amazing people here and I have zero bad experiences.

This app needs improvement. When you share to a party you have to singularly push every item you want to join. It could be 200 depending on your closet. There should be a select all option to join. Please fix this!
Bring back “just shared”!

Switch the algorithm back to “just shared”! You will be losing buyers and sellers with this new update. Harder for sellers to sell and buyers to find what they’re looking for.

Posh is the easiest resale platform to use in my opinion. It’s fun to use and sales are great!
Search algorithm update is terrible .

The recent change to the search algorithm makes it way more difficult for buyers to find what we’re looking for. Search results are now full of inactive sellers’ listings and items unrelated to the search terms used. As a seller, my listings are suddenly getting zero engagement since the update and I am now seriously looking to switch to other selling platforms.
