Just wanna say how much I appreciate all the stuff you get just by downloading the app no required subscription or anything I feel like that’s why this is the #1 photo editing app me and my family and now my boyfriends family via my recommendation use this photo editor it’s been the only one I’ve needed on my phone for years
More updates, more problems

Need to stop with the discovery and social stuff and make a stable app. The latest updates have made the app a mess to use. Love the editing capabilities of this app but constantly have one nagging bug or another. Finally fixed the memory issue, but then the app was updated. Now I open a previously edited picture and it goes completely black. Also has started forgetting my edits again. Have to start over if I try to reopen a photo Haven’t seen the insufficient memory error, but my edits disappeared. Also opens pictures very slowly now and now have to navigate away from this featured stuff to edit. I just want to use the awesome editing tools and edit my pictures. Update 01/05/22: The adjustment brush is also broken since the last update. It’s like stuck in edge aware mode.

Years ago this was an amazing app. I was able to add overlays into my photos and erase it from the subject (as you should be able to do). But now I can’t. There’s legit no erase tool! It’s so stupid and I’m incredibly frustrated!! Why on earth would you want an overlay on top of your subjects face?! Ugh. I’m very disappointed with Polarr right now :(

When trying to save an edited photo on polar, more often than not the screen turns black and the photo doesn’t save. It’s extremely frustrating, please fix this issue.
Quality is ok, no effects on brushes

The quality of the styles is just ok, it doesn’t have a lot of control over the tools. One of the nice features it has (pixelate) is missing the option to be applied when using a brush for selected areas. Polarr used to have this, removed some time ago for no reason whatsoever.
Endless Bugs, Disappearing Features

It appears “rental” means “subject to total change whenever we feel like it”. What does this app even do anymore? I am beginning to think this “javascript-first” webdev architecture is unsuited to real tools people depend upon. BEWARE: now features we paid for are GONE. No Landscape mode! No more drawing tools or text or shapes. I don’t want your garbage clipart lens flares i want the imaging tooks i freaking paid for. Another Update: All my favorites vanished because they changed the way they “package” favorites, and seem to have given no thought to how that interacts with previously referenced Styles. This is the _SECOND_ time my favorites have been nuked because of app changes. This time total silence from support. Update: still busted. Cute garbage like “pixelate with triangles” gets added, while the image type tags have been broken since first release. I have reported the issues in every release; sometimes I get a response asking for the same information provided in first report - it’s broken the same way, please read the first full bug report. Read the reports from all your customers while you’re at it. I used to love the potential and philosophy, but there are still fundamental bugs unaddressed since launch (well over) a year ago. Every release adds a new feature or fiddles with UX while breaking something fundamental. Moving fast and breaking things is what children do, we expect better from professionals

If you want to only be able to save one photo only every now and then, then this is the app for you. I’ve never used an app with more glitches. I get an error message with no text any time I try to do anything with this app, sometimes even upon merely opening it.
