Terrible. If playing any track song more than 5 or 6 minutes long it just stops and skips to the next track.

Using with McIntosh MB50 and Martin Logan Cadence. Noticed WiFi by soundbar was weak, hardwired and they are perfect! So easy to use and find music on all of my streaming services (Tidal, Spotify, TuneIn and Amazon Music) that we use it every day!

Close to useless, regularly indicates it needs an update, which is far too often (and you can’t any of your connected speakers while it updates, even if only one needs the update). Regularly and randomly disconnects, and I mean regularly. Useless for a party or other gathering for background music as it can’t be relied upon. Then there is the frequent message “file unsupported”, for common music file types, which is unacceptable in 2019. Don’t waste your time with Play Fi.

Starting playback via the widget is awesome. The preset will stream direct from the speaker. No more worrying about your phone going out of wi-fi range and disconnecting

I cannot stream Amazon or Tune-in after updating. I have not tried other services but that was enough to make it clear that something happened. I rebooted. I have a strong mesh network and while playback has been better with updates several months ago, this is still not easy to use. I have a Paradigm speaker that sounds awesome with some music but terribly bassy for a lot of other music. This product needs controls for treble and bass but more than anything else, it needs to work consistently. Too many times it stops playing. Tune-in streams hold up daily well compared to Amazon music and I do not use Pandora much to compare.

It can never load XM radio. It forgets my pandora and xm radio passwords weekly and then when I re-enter, it tells me it’s wrong. Really? I’ve used the same one for the past year.

Had a hard time when I first used it. Since then, about 1.5 years ago, it’s worked well. There have been non- connects, but always has been some wi-fi issue with my AVR. Just added a Klipsch gateway, which the app recognized, to stream to a small system in my bedroom, working fine so far. The updates seem to have improved the app. The biggest improvement I noticed , however, was after one of the iOS updates.

Start stop playback from my Dot. I set my svs Soundbase up as Preferred Speaker in Alexa and connected it with my distribution amp and In wall speakers. Finally my wife stopped listening to a $30 Dot.Love it!

There is no reason for the app to be this slow. It has the potential to be awesome and a solid substitute for Sonos. Can also let you achieve whole home multi zone without a ton of extra hardware. But seriously, this app can be better. Also super annoying that XM channel navigation in this app is that bad. Must be fixed!!!
