Horrible unreliable and unintuitive

sochin33

I don't know what else to say. This is hands-down the worst app I've ever used on any iOS system. I could almost forgive the dimwitted set up paradigm if the app functioned reliably once set up was accomplished. But alas ,it does not

What the Hey.

Effing shade router is not working for the billionth time.

Apple watch

Great app overall and thanks for the hard work on the updates. But I've just learned you dumped ALL Powerise customers forever to create a separate, non-compatible platform? WITH the Apple Watch I've been asking for for a year? I spent thousands of dollars on this system, to be abandoned? Give us an Apple Watch app at least, please!!!

I can't believe they haven't updated this app in over a year and a half. Garbage company.

Terrible

Agree completely with E.R.R. Bought this product a few months before PowerView was realeased and left high and dry. This is an almost useless product – the dumbest smart home product at home. Will never buy hunter Douglas again.

App now loses memory

ZipgradAkron

My app worked fine for years. Now when I open the app it loses the memory for my settings. I have thousands invested in this system and they don't work.

Nearly useless.

Pro: Via a kludgey interface you can set presets that will occur at specific times on specific days. Con: However, even though I have top-down blinds, there's no way to schedule the tops to come down, only the bottoms to go up. For my east-facing bedroom windows, this means that I have wake up with the sun in my eyes instead of on the roof. Con: Further, if you don't open the app via your phone about once a week—which helps synchronize the time—the timer drifts quickly enough that you can't use the blinds as an accurate alarm clock. Within a couple weeks the blinds will be opening 15+ minutes too late. Confusing interface includes a "Test Repeater" button that does nothing when pressed, and a "Recalculate Sunrise/Sunset" button that asks for your lat/long...and also appears to do nothing. It's an application that's justifiable if you were a first-time app developer. It's unacceptably poor quality for a company like Hunter-Douglas.
