Doesn't work

Finoguy

Terrible app. We've had it for over a year. You'd think with all the terrible reviews that they'd do something to fix it. Yes, they've pushed out updates. No, they don't make a difference. Zero stars.

Works great, understand how to program now

Nowstarter

These shades at first gave me trouble but I realized it was my home router that was the problem. I changed my home router and it works amazing! Very cool stuff

Buggy and bad interface

Weird things like it defaults to display closed when the shades are open. So you have to slide up then down. Default start up screen should be rooms, not settings. Needs a lot of layout polishing

Poor app

Melb0028

The app works well for controlling the shades on command. However, it performs very poorly on scenes which work less then half the time it's supposed to. Most often the set time will pass and the shades haven't done anything. Design of the program is also poor. So two stars for it not working so often and being poorly and strangely designed.

Need to fix this

Zblind

I don't know what they did to this app but it doesn't work well at all. Hard to navigate, difficult and confusing to set up. When I first used it over a year ago all was good. I do not know what they did but they need to get it fixed. I paid a lot for these blinds and I should be able to control them.

Perfect now

We had this installed about a year ago, and we did have problems. It often would not hook up with our Internet. Our windows are all very close to each other, so using the hand control to do just one at a time was difficult. We also have 27 windows which wrap around our whole apartment.we were very frustrated at times, especially given the cost of the product and installation. So getting this to work was very important. We got a new combination modem/Router (Motorola), and unbeknownst to us the software on the app was upgraded. Everything has worked perfectly for weeks now. I also have a brand-new iPhone and iPad, and I don't know if that makes any difference, but I am ecstatic thatwe now have everything going in the right direction. I mentioned all the hardware changes because they are variables also, but maybe it was just the software. A great app!

Very poor app

Nonper

It astounds me each time I use it just how bad this app is. Doesn't pick up the rooms and makes me restart. I've lost shades in each room and need to add them again. Annoying that after setup it just falls apart over time. I wish I could give this a quarter or eighth of a star rather than a full star. I'm sure they're glad that the app keeps asking to rate them.

Very good yes. Perfect no

Bill in Wichita

I don't know why there are so many negative comments. Other than a bit of learning required due to the complexity of the app, I've had little to complain about since the last software update. I wonder if the dealers/installers didn't do a bad job of setup or explaining?

Worked on set up, not since

I don't know why HD won't update this app. It could be great but I don't think they care to improve it. Astounding, with the advent of home automation. Wake up!

Thankfully we didn't do the whole house

Really wanted for this to work. But even the installer tried to manage my expectations. Rhis is far and away the worse app I have ever had. I have to reset the system at least twice per week just to be able to open or close the blinds. It just seems to choose not to work. We installed in the bedroom only. We would do the living room next. But no way.
