Thanks to the developers for their “quick fix” and reply. The recent updates the last few days has repaired the problems and restored all my saved photos. The app now works perfectly and the features are smoother than ever. Worthy of five stars.

I purchased the app and enjoyed it. It’s not bad app but with the latest update they disabled the ability to import videos unless you sub to their service. They continue to remove features but expect people to pay for the features back. If you are going to charge make it for a new feature. Not one you took away. Terrible.

Purchased the app several years ago and have had minor issues with videos/pictures disappearing. Easy workaround but with this latest update I now have to subscribe monthly or yearly just to add videos when this is something I paid for years ago.

I’ve had this app way back since iOS 4 or 5. It was a simple picture & video safe app. You’d import photos or videos, and the app would put require a code to access it. Additionally it allows easy transfer of files back and forth. It didn’t even have ads! In a vile and deceptive move, the developer pushed an update that was described as “bug fixes”, and upon opening it it becomes clear that features that were previously included in the free version of the app behind a pay wall. Want to import a video? Sorry, better pay up! And it’s not even a one-time unlock, but a monthly subscription! I am presently evaluating other options - I wish he’d just put ads into the app instead of taking away features that were previous available to users of the app.

Hidden $4.99 fee to use app

Was a great app I would of gladly given 4.5 stars until their recent update where they are FORCING current users to pay them $4.99 MONTHLY to import and save videos. So now the app is almost useless unless users pay $4.99 a month. Why would we need to pay a monthly fee to keep our own data on our own devices? You don’t host our data on your servers, right?! So why is this fee now mandatory? I could understand a fee to buy the app. But an ongoing fee every month is just stupid.

Don't waste your time.

I paid for this app years ago.(a pretty high priced purchase at the time too!) Now they want to charge me a fee to have access to features I’ve already paid for. This app is officially a joke now. Oh and it still hasn’t fixed the issue of videos and pics randomly disappearing. The developers have already been paid for it. DO NOT GET THIS APP!!!

Had this paid app for many years. Minimal, functional. Latest version 1) reduced functionality, and 2) turned app into adware. Recommendation: look elsewhere.

I loved this app for the same reason every other person does. But now you have to pay a steep monthly price for something I had already paid for?! That’s total BS!!

Will force you to upgrade with annoying pop-ups

I’ve had this app for years, the premium version, yet recently they decided that my version wasn’t sufficient and they wanted to force me to upgrade. As such they’ve essentially limited the functionality of the app I’ve already purchased and made every log on an annoying pop-up ad, seemingly to force you to switch to a 29.99 per year or 4.99 per month model. They’ve limited features I already had and they even took away the standard icon to something that looks like trash, so that you have to pay to get the old features/icon back. To hell with them, I won’t do it just on general principle. I’m sick of apps trying to force subscription upgrades to products you already own. There are enough competitors out there to get something from a group that values their existing customers.
