Been trying to figure out how to transfer the photos for 30 mins now. I am a patient person but this app is pushing it lol. I like the old app better. Please fix this issue devs. Yall need to read the reviews of your app.

I spent two days trying to transfer photos from my camera to my iPhone only the finally find out the app no longer works. I found the app that DOES! Imaging Edge Mobile. After driving myself crazy I finally found it and gave it a shot and thank the heavens because I was about to send my camera back. I hope it works for you.

I specifically purchased a Sony camera to use the PlayMemories app to transfer my photos to my phone because I do not have a computer to do so. That’s the entire reason the salesperson at Best Buy even recommend the camera to me in the first place! He said that there was this great app that allowed me to transfer all my photos to my phone and I was so excited and immediately sold. Will be returning this $800 camera because this app is a piece of crap and false advertising. PLEASE FIX THIS

I can’t transfer my picture from my camera at all. The old app was so easy. This is terrible.

Product Managers Need to Be Fired

I literally lugged around my heavy a6000 Sony camera in PATAGONIA for EIGHT days on a backpacking trip. Just got back to civilization and I literally cannot sync any of these pictures to my phone - what is the point of this app or even one of the major selling points of this camera if I can’t access these pictures unless I plug it into a computer??? The pictures are stuck in this camera and this is the worst app “upgrade” - in fact this “upgrade” fully nullifies the “send to smartphone” functionally of the camera. Whoever is the product manager of this app should get fired - nobody is using this app to sort their non-camera smartphone pictures. This app is a dumpster fire. I never ever write reviews but this product decision is warrants a HUGE warning to all future Sony prospective buyers. Unless they upgrade, STAY AWAY.
