Worst App Experience

This really is the worst app I’ve ever used. I’ve been trying for an hour to get a single photo from my Sony A7iii to my iPhone, and still no luck. A big reason I got this camera is to be able to easily send photos between devices, but so far I can’t. The app is not optimized for mobile use, and during the sign up process, you have to constantly turn your phone sideways and scroll around to try to get the different fields in view and scroll around trying to find the “submit” button. I’m actually shocked at how horrible the user experience is, and I hope Sony/PlayStation fix these issues soon, or they are totally shooting themselves in the foot. The new mirror less cameras are awesome, but they need phone apps to support it on the mobile side. BIG THUMBS DOWN!!!

Main reason I bought this camera—> to transfer photos from my camera directly to my phone via WiFi... doesn’t even give you the option. Awful.

A pesar de ver todas las demas reseñas intente utilizar la App y no logre que funcionara. No logra coneccion, no logro enviar las fotos. Ojalá Sony actualice el App y arregle los problemas.

This app is so bad that I actually am taking my brand new camera back to store. All I want is a simple app to transfer my files to my phone and it can’t even do that. Garbage.

I never write reviews. But this warrants it. I was on a location and really needed to transfer my images on the fly. This app is terrible. Bring back the old app. Canon is starting to look really good over all. Going to sell my 7S and 7R soon.

Most useless app ever

This app doesn’t do what it claims to and makes the WiFi and transfer option my my camera useless. Bought a Sony camera so I didn’t have to always bring my heavy DSLR on every trip, which transfers photos very easily to my smart phone. This app needs to be fixed. There is a reason this app has such a low rating. It can’t be that hard to program an app that works

Can’t upload photos

I re-downloaded this app to upload my pics from my camera to my phone so I can share with my family but after several failed attempts on multiple different devices I found that the feature is no longer available?? Not sure how I am supposed to get pics of my family to share with everyone. Many new laptops including the new PacBool Pro I own don’t have SD card slots for my SD card so now I have to get a converter to get my photos off my camera. Makes no sense. Please bring back the other feature of allowing us to transfer boots via WiFi. I will delete this app as soon as I finish this review because it’s basically another version of photos that comes with your iPhone. Saving photos to the cloud and creating “collections” otherwise known as ALBUMS in your iPhone.
