I find it extremely funny that Sony actually removed the convenient app for us users and replaced it with this piece of crap of an app... It won’t let me log in and it won’t let me reset the password... what’s going on here? Sony Entertainment is seriously doing this ? what a joke!! Cannon and Nikon here I come ?

Now the wireless is useless

After the update, the camera doesn’t transfer pictures anymore. But why Sony did that? So disappointed. Bring the old version back and please fire this apps developer manager. He’s a disaster.

Worthless App for Camera to Phone Transfer

I literally bought my camera because of the easy transfer feature to get pics from my camera to my phone. Thanks to the genius who invented this app, I can no longer do that- which means the wireless feature on the camera is now useless and I have to get a cord to plug into my laptop, then send to my phone. Or take the memory card out and insert it into a converter to plug into the usb on my laptop. Both of which are inconvenient. It’s 2020- why would we go from wireless to needing a cord to transfer pics? Whose bright idea was this?? I’m beyond frustrated.

I had the idea I may be able to use this get some of my photography on to my console but not even the screenshot option is allowed when you’re on a photo. Don’t see the point of it honestly.

The verification to ensure that I was not a robot took me down a Alice in Wonderland track that it was never to recover from. Sony I seriously expect better from you. How is it that you’re making the best cameras in the world right now but offer none of the support comes with being one of the top contenders. You will enjoy only brief moment of success as it relates to cameras.

How many times do I have to find a street sign?

I’ve never left a review but feel inclined after trying to download this app and sign up for a Sony account. WHAT is the deal with the verification to prove you’re not a robot? I was never able to make it past the “choose every square that has a street sign” step because it continued to serve me dozens of street signs with no end in sight. After 5 minutes I just couldn’t hunt for street signs, buses, and cars anymore. This is insane.

How does SONY have the very worst inoperable app I have EVER had the unfortunate experience of downloading. The really crappy part is that it's supposed to work with the a6000 as a remote, to get apps and replace a shutter release cord. It doesn't even allow me to sign in! I just spent half n hour on their prove I'm not a robot bulls<^*! Here, I will prove I am not a robot, I'm writing my very first review ever!! This thing is so bad I'm actually insulted!! You have wasted my time, and sold me on a pile of crap! DEPLORABLE WORK Sony!! For SHAME!!

I legit do not understand this app. You can’t even get pass the registration for a Sony account because of the stupid “prove you are not a robot” thing.
