I enjoy the app however I would like if I can airplay it directly to my smart tv

Of all the pay channels I have subscribed to after cutting the cord, Philo had been my favorite. I watched it solely when I watched TV. I started noticing though that they are cutting most of my channels short. Two of my favorite channels to watch are TLC and MTV. Their hour long episodes end up being 35-40 minutes and I never see the end of the episode! I have emailed and gotten no response, tried to message on Facebook to no avail and finally I posted on their FB wall. I checked a day later to see if they had responded and they had deleted it! I purchase a lot of shows because I watch them over. I may cut Philo and just start purchasing shoes via Apple or Amazon. The other issue is that while watching on Apple products the shows glitch out and kick me out of the episode. I try to go back in and it sends me to a different episode and when I try to start over it won’t allow me to return to said episode. I also have issues watching season 1 specifically on Animal Planet shows. It feels like Philo has gotten too big to listen to their subscribers.

This is the worst app available for watching anything. Commercials were ridiculous since I never finished the movie I was watching. It felt like it was taking forever when in actuality it was. The movie was 2 hours but ran 6 minute commercials per 10 minute of movie time. That is insane! Do not waste your time or money! Plus I noticed some stuff isn’t even available to watch! Why have it posted at all if no one can watch the content? Not happy and surely not worth $20 month!!!

I love the programming and the price is awesome, but I guess you get what you pay for. It does not stream well through my fire cube, I get to watch for about 2 seconds and then wait for it to reload. Bummer.

I have already decided not to go past my free trial, but I downloaded the app just to leave this review. I got the trial initially in order to watch Good Bones season 3 & 4. I’m home sick with double pneumonia, and omg this streaming service is unbelievably frustrating. First, they’ve kept a handful of episodes out for live streaming only. As in, you have to look at a schedule for when those episodes are airing. Period. Then, it doesn’t let you rewind episodes you’ve already watched. I wanted to see the last ten minutes of one episode that I missed. Am I able to do that? Nope. I have to watch the whole thing again if I want to see those ten minutes. Like I’m certain my blood pressure is up now. Who does this, then asks for outrageous fees every month. $16?! No, just no.

I don’t see why some things on this app you have to save first before to watching it and sometimes it don’t even work. Why can’t we watch every show and movie in the app if we have to pay for it every month?? That makes no sense to me?

I only have this app for Drag Race otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it to my enemy half the time I don’t get picture or the videos just won’t load. Low quality and poor design lead to an overall bad experience. It can be great when it works but it’s too rare for a service that costs $20 a month.

Nice app...but Ads?

$20 a month per subscription but then I’m sitting through ads throughout that I can’t skip...if it was a free app I’d understand, but it’s kinda outlandish to charge $20 a month while sitting through ads every 15-20 minutes
