Iphone & Tv apps not easy to Maneuver

I don’t like how the live view looks on my iphone. There should be a guide not just pictures of all the shows that are on at that time. It’s not easy to maneuver through this app and the tv app isn’t either.

Like the app overall but needs some new updates

I really like the Philo tv app for the most part. My only gripe is that the app doesn’t support an hdmi connection from my phone to my tv. I do not have a smart tv so the only way for me to watch my streaming apps is to connect my hdmi cord from my tv to my phone. When I do this with the philo app I get audio but no video on my tv.

This is an awesome TV service and app with a great DVR. But on my iPhone with a “Lightning to Digital AV” adapter the Philo app will NOT mirror to my TV. This is unfortunately a deal breaker for me as I found a different streaming service where this adapter works. Not sure why Philo has opted to block it and/or AirPlay mirroring or keep it from working in some other way and I am also not sure why Philo would even care to as they are not in the business of limiting bandwidth usage like the wireless carriers are. Most of the other TV streaming apps do not officially support this mirroring to TV feature but most of them do not actively block it and it does work on most. Philo please get onboard with fixing this disappointment ASAP!!!

Philo is outstanding. It has all the channels that I need. For the price I can afford. Thank You! FINALLY! A streaming service that doesn’t add all sorts of channels you don’t watch for an affordable price. BUT I was wondering if you will ever have a NEWS package? My husband needs FOX business and FOX news. Will it ever happen? I would pay the extra 5 dollars for that package just to make him happy. AND what happened to the guide on ipad? I had one when I did the free trial. Now I can't find one now that I downloaded new app. About the news channels that I mentioned I was just thinking of adding them as an ADD-ON feature. Like other streaming companies offer. A News Package as they call it. So there is no extra cost to your customers except for the ones that want that package. Like a sports package which I could care less about but others might like it. So those people pay extra for a sports package and the rest of us don’t have too. This is the reason I signed with you. I am tired of paying for other peoples stuff. When I don’t watch sports or HBO or music ETC. THANKS FOR YOUR HARD WORK! So far I am very happy with the service. Regarding this new update : So far I really like it! Thank You for all that you are doing.

Too many times we are watching and a message comes up that says there is a problem. Didn’t happen till the last two updates and still having the same issue. Also, it seems like it won’t update the shows anymore and we have to delete the app, install just to see the newest episodes. Think we might be switching back to cable if it keeps being this bad.

Love Philo channel selection, service and price point. One feature that needs to be addressed is the ability to use Airplay2 to streamcast to TV. I have a Vizio Smart TV and the Philo Service does not have a native app nor can one streamcast via Airplay2 from the app on IOS to the TV. Hope this is resolved soon.
