Love it

I love how clean it makes my teeth feel. I’ve only had it a few days and I’m addicted!

Interesting but not very useful

Sometimes I have to go through a lot of resetting the handle in order for the app to realize I’m trying to use it. If I turn it on to vibrate out any extra toothpaste while finding, it thinks I’m brushing again. There’s no way to clear out “false” brushings. It’ll just average in a 5 second brushing. The gym health cycle is 3:20, but my average brushing time is under two minutes. Nonsense. Do these false brushings also count in the use per head they’re counting? I’ll stick to the general rule of 3 months to replace. Every time I go to set a goal, the app crashes. Edit: turned off ability for them to share my info & it deleted all my info. I have to start all over!

Very useful app for Sonicare, but...

Thanks for fixing the problem with the app crashing, Phillips developers. ?? I do like the premise of the app for ensuring adequate brushing, the excessive pressure and excessive movement alerts. These features enhance the efficacy of my Sonicare toothbrush. I’d like to suggest two improvements, Phillips. 1) Please reduce the time it takes for the app to load. 2) The reminders to floss and scrape are not able to be deactivated. Please change this, as I do not need such reminders. Thanks.

Marketing over brushing

This app has idiosyncrasies, but functionality improvements in updates worked must of those out. A new phone also improved the Bluetooth connectivity. This app really helps even coverage and brushing. The most recent update introduced a mandatory screen requiring an account sign-in or sign-up to purchase brush heads. It cannot be dismissed unless you restart your phone (or tender ransom). The screen reappears at least weekly. The odious screen holds use hostage to marketing. I still haven’t used the all heads that came with my brush. I don’t want a subscription to purchase their heads. I don’t want Phillips gathering data. Because of this mandatory account, I chose to forgo genuine app functionality of my expensive toothbrush. One shouldn’t be made to choose.

If it only worked...

I would love this app if it worked 80+% of the time. Unfortunately it only works for me about a third of the time. I wait for my toothbrush to connect with the app before I start brushing, but alas, most of the time it does not recognize I’ve started the cycle. I try every time, but this app definitely needs tweaking or an update or a complete overhaul. It’s just added a slight additional frustration at the beginning and end of my days, which is not what I want. So glad I forked out all that money for a toothbrush with cool features that don’t work...NOT!! And sorry, but I’m not willing to brush in a location other than my bathroom in an effort to improve connectivity.

Great

For the most part this app is very enjoyable. Has connectivity issues sometimes and it's a little frustrating but a great reminder for oral care overall

Fresh and clean feeling

I got my toothbrush through my insurance and I must say it is ANAZING! I love how the app tells me what I need to work on and by the end that clean feeling is definitely there. Get you one!

Definitely a 5-Star!!!!!

Super duper good app it really really helps brush my teeth and encourages you to brush your teeth twice a day.

Fails to connect too often

App is buggy at times and doesn’t connect to your brush. This is the most annoying part of the experience. Putting toothbrush back on holder, closing app, starting over again. It’s just simple Bluetooth. Would be less of a problem if you could manually account for brushing but the app only lets you do that for flossing, mouth rinsing and tongue brushing. 4/07/19 - The current problem is the 13-18 second delay in the app from when you start brushing. 4/08 - Hoping to see an app update today. But no. 4/12 - Still has the lengthy delay. No app update. 4/15 - Evening session had 11 second delay then crashed. Two more crashes in restart. Then the app would just lock up and I couldn’t check off the other oral care activities. Can’t wait for an update so the app isn’t so useless. 4/24 - Still getting delays at start EVERY TIME! This morning was a 22-second delay! 17 second delay tonight and the app crashed when I was done brushing. 4/25 - Brush wouldn’t connect tonight. Just use my regular toothbrush. 4/29 - App crashed twice at start. I guess it’s manual toothbrush night. 5/04/19 - A record setting 29 second delay! The app crashed and closed at the end of the session. 5/05 - The app’s crashes three times at start. I guess that means I’ll have to brush, again, without it. I thought I had it working on a fourth attempt but after the usual delay for the timer to come on the app crashed. 5/07 - This app is good at crashing. Will this update fix the crashing? 5/08 - No delay this morning. I’ll add a star back each day this app works the way it’s supposed to. 6/05/19 - Was working for a while. Three times crashed at start. One star again. Tonight: just keeps crashing. 6/06 - Crashed x3 at start. Does not even open the app. 6/07 - Guess what happened when I opened the app? It crashed. 6/08 - Crashes when you open the app. 6/09 - App says I have one notification but just crashes when I open the app. Good prank! 6/10 - Worst app. 6/11 - Rebooted my phone. App still crashes at start. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it. Never had to do that with an app before. The app pretends to restore your data but doesn’t restore anything, least of all your confidence in Philips. 6/12 - App still wonky. Has 3-second lock ups continuously after the first 2:00. 6/14 - Seemed to work just fine tonight. Plus one star! 6/26 - Seemed to work well except for “touch lag” and screen freezing occasionally. Now it just locks up and then crashed tonight. 7/26 - The app claims I’ve been offline for the last three days... All the other apps on my phone are working fine. 8/08 - Reinstalled the app on 7/28. Still freezes at particular time including when the app is opened. Freezes if you missed a spot and continue brushing. Starts at 20 seconds then freezes at 13 seconds remains and doesn’t “catch up” until the touch up is over. Occasionally crashes when closing the current brushing session or switching from This Week to Today. 8/25 - Still locks up for a minute if you switch screens. Locks up when you have to touch up a spot. Locked up in 13 seconds and froze beyond the remaining brush time.

Love it

I love my sonicare. I just keep forgetting to connect it when I brush my teeth. I have had wonderful results from my dentist since using my sonicare. Do you fave suggestions to remind me to connect to the app all the time.
