Garbage, always offline and useless

This app is complete garbage, what a scam. The app is always offline and gives me an “unsuccessful feed” notification. It is so frustrating as this is intended to feed our animals while we are away. Completely useless, don’t buy this piece of garbage.

Works great. App works as it’s supposed to. Lots of features to customize my pugs meals. Took a little while to setup app with feeder but works fine now. Company updates app often. I love my feeder and have had no problems at all!

I wish this app was reliable. Every time I open it to adjust food settings it asks me to sign in. Then when I try to enter password the keyboard in iOS 12 thinks it’s asking to create an account and fills it with a random password. Very annoying, please get this fixed.

Had the first version, a pain to install, worked until app logged me out and wouldn’t let me log on or create a new password despite following all instructions. This while it was over feeding my cat and I couldn’t change it! Then we changed Internet carrier AT&T to Spectrum. Long story short, could never get old one to work. Sent me the new version of feeder, wouldn’t log in, app wouldn’t recognize new feeder and would never connect to WiFi. Very condescending help desk, “just wait a half hour and see if it works,” is just one of the dumb suggestions. App has bugs, new version not as well designed as first gen. Both went in the garbage. Needs a lot more testing before a trustworthy product.

Good app and product

I’m reading the reviews and wondering ‘what the heck have I just done?’, making an expensive mistake. A week later, I’m breathing a sign of relief. The product works great. And the app must have gone thru a lot of updates because it’s quick and simple to connect to the feeder, connecting the feeder to Petnets server took seconds, and the app is easy to use. The one step that took the longest was the downloading of the app...a couple minutes. I get instant notifications when the pets are fed, and I can even give them a little extra, via the app, between meals if they want a snack. One improvement I’d like to see is in the ‘pet information’ area. I have two pets, and the app won’t recognize that, and therefore it’s warning me that I’m over feeding my pet.

Fix your password prompts!

iOS keeps creating passwords for the logins and won’t auto fill. Please fix the app to properly handle the logins and passwords correctly.

Three years working on ONE feature, still waiting.

Bought my first feeder in Oct2015. Liked it so much that I bought a second one for our other pet on Jan2016. I immediately noticed I had to have two separate accounts and have to log out and log in to the other account each and EVERY time. They told me back in 2016 they were working on the app having more than one pet and they have been giving me the SAME answer every time I call for THREE YEARS now. So for that reason, they get one star.

Does what it’s supposed to

It works great for the most part. It’s good when I’m gone and have to take my dog to my parents. Even off WiFi it will stick to its schedule. The only bad thing is it doesn’t always let you refill it. It’s supposed to automatically prompt you when you add food to reset the food level. But it doesn’t work half the time. There needs to be an update or something where it just lets you set the food level whenever you want.

I’m real surprised by the review. My feeder and app has worked great for a couple years now. Was pretty easy for me to set up. My cat is a master of getting food out of automatic feeder but this one has eliminated that (much to her displeasure). The app is simple to use and the feeder is reliable. Highly recommend.

I hear the food dispense at 6 but the app logs it as missed can you add a field to let me mark it as feed.
