Worst Company Ever For Customer Service

Because THERE IS NONE. Machine stopped connecting to WiFi. Called in four times, emailed in too. Tried again just now at 9am pst. At any given time of day no one picks up the phone, always an answer service saying all lines are busy, which in real words means ‘We don’t have a customer service team, we just listen to messages and if we get back to you you’ll be lucky because we really do NOT care once we take your money’. This product should be great and it was when it worked, now it’s just a redundant piece of posh plastic.

I love this product. I looked for over automatic feeders and stumbled upon Petnet and was instantly sold. I love the concept of this feeder and initial setup was a little difficult. Wouldn't pair with my phone at first until I turned up the brightness. That helped. I have no issues with the actual feeder as of now. Only have had it a couple days. HOWEVER, the app, needs work. Notifications are hit and miss. I would like an actual ALERT. it seems like I get a notification , but it doesn't make a sound and is often late getting to me. If the app developers could tweak the notification system, then they would have a hit on their hands. Oh. And one more thing. The status indicator always says "charging". I don't know why.

If I had a dollar for every time my cats went hungry because this app couldn’t be bothered to tell me they’re out of food (if it tells me at all), I would be able to afford a second feeder. How hard is it to give someone a day or two warning so they have time to pick-up more food? Or am I just supposed to be grateful the half the time it bothers to tell me at all?

It would be nice if we were able to schedule different feeding times based on the day of the week. Other then that, it works great and I would recommend this product.

1)you can’t set up more than one device on an account- please tell me how this acceptable this day in age? I have to have 2 different log ins per feeder. Complete waste of time. 2)feeders are constantly offline and app unable to sync. Again, no issues with Bluetooth, internet etc, the app and feeders simply aren’t working. How is this beneficial for me to leave town and not be able to manual feed remotely? I have the schedule setup and thankfully, that’s the only thing working. I wish they would put more effort into developing this app into a more functional, convenient app that we can actually use for these feeders that cost $150 a piece. Get it together petnet!


We have the original and the new version

We have the original feeder and it works great. Once we got another dog we wanted a second one for our other dog. We went to the website and discovered that there was a new version which we purchased. Once we received it we realized you can only control one device. Tech support was helpful and recommended we create a second account with my wife’s email which works ok. Once each feeder were connected and functioning we realized that the synchronization or timing of the feeding isn’t very accurate. One dog gets fed about 15 seconds before the other which seems minor but the lag makes the dog go crazy while the other dog is already eating. Tech support was not able to address this but I’m optimistic that they could resolve this in the future...

I got a broken product

Don’t do it. I’ve called customer service, and wasted two hours of my time trying to set this up. It just blinks red lights and the customer service representative- though he was polite- only told me what I kept reading in the error message and had no way to fix it. I set it up physically next to the router- no luck. Took my phone screen off, turned up the brightness, had the Bluetooth connected. This was supposed to make life simpler and it made it more complicated

Purchased my unit 8/28/18. Was very excited for the use of this product which was delivered on 9/5. I had issues setting up the unit and contacted technical support (Brett) who helped resolve the issues and a new firmware update. The unit worked fine for a short period of time 9/11, and since then very sporadic. Contacted email support 9/13 reviewing request, 9/15 asked when it would be fix, 9/15 (11:16 PDT) was notified of new firmware . Played with unit finally got it to work then later that day it went south again. Request for support 9/21, still not working requested to return unit for refund. Was told they would send a return slip via email, ....still nothing. It is sad that they would not even offer to exchange the unit so I have begun looking for an alternative


Feeder works but app is junk

Can’t control from 2 separate phones- totally stupid . Also can only set 5 feeds per day, I should be able to set as many as I need.
