Searching for creators is not intuitive. The interface is cluttered. PayPal integration doesn’t work. Couldn’t pay with a credit card either. I guess I’ll try the web site.

I have no issue with this app other than its inability to send or allow me to change any of my notification settings. Creators are posting and, although I should be notified according to all settings, I get nothing. Also, whenever I change my preferences, it doesn’t save and just reverts back to its original settings. Fix this!

On first glance the app seems great but then I noticed the bugs. - When listening to podcast material, the app often forgets my current position so it starts the audio stream from the beginning. But sometimes it remembers it. - There’s no reliable indicator what material I have already listened to and what is new. I saw a green Check mark once but then nothing else got marked. - I cannot mark material a “watched” myself. I have no control over playlists or anything. - I cannot export content to the native podcast app or iTunes (this is a must-have feature since this app is too buggy) - Most of the time, scraping audio content doesn’t work because the view jumps down as soon as I press the scraping knob, then jumps up again as I let go. I am using an iPhone 6s. I wonder if this is some bug due to iPhone X which has a taller screen? ...

I don’t think I have ever been so frustrated with an app! If you get a call while watching or click out of the video, you cannot just open it back up and start from where you were. You get a black screen nothing more. It’s a good thing for the content because the platform is the worst I have ever used.

And there’s no reason to have such a clunky, almost unusable, app. Spend some of the money you’re making and roll out a decent mobile application.

It shuts down constantly, doesn't save where you left off, and regularly says episodes are unavailable

This app is cumbersome and buggy, which is surprising considering how well known patreon is. It’s just poor quality. This review is focused exclusively on the iOS application rather than patreon generally, which is a great service.

The current app is much better than clunky slow web wrapper app. However it falls short in some obvious ways: Need a feed of chronological posts like in the old app and on the website. Need sorting of creators in the left side revealed creator list (Alphabetically, By Most Recently Subscribed, By Most Recently Updated, By Unread, By Recommended (algorithmic), etc) Need a share option on creator page in the context menu.
