I usually leave the app feeling frustrated.

I’m both a creator and a backer but mostly only use it as a backer. Trying to navigate around it is onerous. On more than one occasion I’ve been utterly unable to find a creator I wanted to back using the search function. I usually have to wait and do it from my computer, leaving me wishing I hadn’t tried to use the app in the first place. Edited to add: I have decided to lower my rating even further. Today I was miraculously able to find the creator I want to support through the app, but attempting to back the creator just got me a blank screen. Even when the search function works, I can’t actually pledge money.

Almost every time I listen to a podcast that I paused, it starts in the wrong place or even goes back to the beginning.

Patreon isn’t harassing the gun channels like YouTube, I wish Patreon would allow content creators to make videos on a platform like YouTube but hopfully in time they will. I do hate how I constantly have to start from the beginning of a video when I’m on my IPhone if I have to change screens real fast.

I can't believe people actually like this app. It's awful for watching videos and listening to podcasts. Whenever it try to watch/listen to content it takes forever to start playing. If I happen to leave the app–even for a moment–in the middle of a video, it refreshes and starts back at 00:00. You can't start watching/listening to something and pick up where you left off later. It doesn't have an itemized list of videos/podcasts where you can see all of the content at once. You have to physically scroll back to find episodes. It never deletes episodes that you've already viewed, making the feed completely cluttered when you do need to scroll through to look for content. It's nothing like the Apple podcast app, which is what I guess I'm expecting. Yes, it serves other purposes for different people and that's great. But as an app to listen to podcasts or watch videos, it's completely useless.

The UI is crisp and clean, it focuses on the simplicity of the logic behind the app and just working efficiently without sacrificing an easy on the eyes layout. Love it, I use the app more than I use the desktop website.
Love it better than YouTube

Such a great platform to use for any content creator. No ads, none of that other silly things that is on YouTube- just pure content. This could possibly be the new YouTube and if it does replace it- I totally would not mind.

I wish there was a way to message fellow Patreon followers, not just the Patreon creator. The forum is great, but sometimes you don't want to talk to everyone.

Unable to view new content from the people i patron to even though is available on the website. So far this app has been trash and will get a trash rating from me.
