This app is exactly what I was looking for! While it does not let you choose the apps you disable, it still serves its purpose... We were having trouble with our son focusing on school but we still wanted him to have his phone in case of an emergency! Thank you our pact!

With these smart phones dumbing down America, it's awesome to be able to limit my kids use of them. You can set a schedule and can even shut down or turn on the phone for limited times. Very easy to use. You need to have the phone(s) your trying to control for the initial set up. Then the master phone can control the other ones. Even when the phone is disabled called and text are still possible. It's nice that if you call or text you kids and they don't answer you back, you shut down their phone and magically they are calling you to turn their phone back on. Love this app recommended it to parents everywhere!!!
Children are smart to figure out

The app is great but my kids figured out and uninstalled the profile management in a couple of days. It would have been nice if the profile removal screen itself was hidden as part of installing the app or uninstalling would have required a parent password.

This app has worked great for restricting when my 8 year old uses his iPad. I do wish it would do one thing though... I'd prefer an overall time limit for the day, rather than having to block it at specific times. That feature is great for bedtime, but our schedules vary every day - so it's difficult to know when the day time blocks should be scheduled. I would prefer to give him 90 minutes per day to use as he wants, with the additional option of blocking specific times (such as bedtime). It would also be great if he could get a 2 minute warning so he can finish up what he's doing before the app disappears. We all lose track of time when we are engaged - this warning would be helpful. Thanks though, for creating such a great app - make those changes and it will be a PERFECT 5 stars!
Just can't deal with the glitch

The organize folder doesn't work all the time. Kids had to rearrange their apps...very annoying and just not worth the fuss. I'll keep looking for another app. :(

Started great, but it took one day for my 13 year old to hack it...he was able to open it after it was timed out...at least he told us..
Doesn't block YouTube

I was happy with the simplicity and user-friendly straightforwardness of this app till I discovered that during blocked times my 12-year-old still has access to YouTube, which has been her most problematic distraction. I'm surprised that YouTube is not blocked along with Safari and other web-based, interactive apps. And disgusted that I have to continue my search for an app blocker that works for us.
