You should see how fast chores and homework get done at our house now that we use this app! We set a schedule for our kids to use the apps they're allowed to use after hw and chores are done and before bedtime... yes! Bedtime! Our 15 & 17 yr olds go to bed at 9:00pm once the apps disappear from their phones! It's awesome! We've removed apps when they're on probation. The one thing I would improve is separating the camera and FaceTime app. If you turn off the camera, then FaceTime is disabled (and viceversa). I'm not device savvy so I don't understand why they have to be connected like that. It would be awesome if each of those two apps had a disable feature independent from each other. Other than that, this app is awesome!

I work at night and my wife’s not tech savvy. As you know when the cats away the mice will play. My 9 year old would stay up on his phone. He’d tell me he wasn’t on it but the amount of YouTube videos watched told a different story. Now I know he’s not on the phone. It’s as easy as setting it and forgetting it. Gives the parent total control of the phone without even being home. You control when they can use the phone and how long they can use it.

I originally worked with my parents to install this so they would trust me more and my iPod wouldn’t have to be taken away. I’m in middle school and trying to work through problems with people is important to me so when my iPod gets shut off it’s very frustrating. This app has made my parents NOT trust me and has made them more controlling as ever. It has turned out a horrible experience for me and my parents. though i agree restrictions are good sometimes, kids need to be able to have a freedom and made decisions for themselves. Yes, we’ll make mistakes but being humiliated at school when you want to take a picture with your friends and you cant’t is NOT the way to do it. I do not think it is good to give parents so much authority over a child’s device while we are still learning and making tons of mistakes. No, there aren’t really any technical problems with this app but i’m more upset at the tension and drama it has brought to my family and I.

Highly recommend this app for controlling what apps your kids use, when they use them and having a balance between electronics and “real life”.

I originally would’ve given this app five stars. I even told every parent I know about this app. But now I’m giving it a one star. I’m so irritated right now I want to scream. This app worked excellent when my daughter had an iPhone 5. She’s now been upgraded to an iPhone 6. I’ve tried reinstalling and syncing the app to her new phone and it’s not working at all. Nothing is working. Following all of the prompts the website and app gave me. I’ve been messing with this stupid think for over two hours now. Even downgraded my account for the most basic features hoping that would work. Nope!! Still not working at all. I’m done wasting my time and energy on this. Canceling my account and deleting this crappy app.

So my kid has this right? So she wakes up at 7.00 but it starts a 7.20 she waits for 20 min and no time wow you guys it’s really bad don’t bye it.

I feel more comfortable with my son having a cell phone at 10 but was worried about the potential trouble he would get into having full access to apps and internet. Our pact allows me to monitor control and block anything I feel is inappropriate for him or use it for discipline when the privileges need to be taken away. I have tried a couple others and this one has exactly what i was looking for. Thank you!

Premium install failed. Too many problems.

Ran into problem after problem and several frustrating hours, never got premium to work. Seems like all the best features were in premium but too many problems with iTunes to ever make this worthwhile. App looks great but a true disappointment.
