1 Star because they forgot chicken in my mothers chicken Fuji salad and there’s no way to complain within the app. There should be a way in the app to complain if they screw up your order

Love this option! The Manager of store has great customer service skills. If there is an issue he handles it without any inconvenience to me. I believe his name is Chris.

App has been “under maintenance” for a couple months now and is starting to be bother

Very bad timing estimates and tracking. Nobody to talk to when order never arrived. Dasher brought wrong food. Can’t even submit a request via app to get my money back. Never again.
Mobile orders treated differently than in store orders

My review is due to a long wait for food service. Why is that on the app review? Because the app caused the delay. My family and I came to Panera and sat at a table rather than use the kiosk. Part of that decision was the line for the kiosk, the other part was my four children not being able to wait while we order. Put in our two adult and four kid meals for eat-in service with a table number, ordered a dozen cookies, and added a tip. Total amount was just under $100. Our order confirmation showed a ONE HOUR wait. While we waited, we watched several families enter, order, eat, and leave. Come to find out that if the total is around $100, the APP delays placing the order for an hour, even if you are already in the store. That is the kind of app design that infuriates customers and calls to the manager. Quit setting your associates up for failure and add a logic that eat-in orders with a table number get expedited no matter the cost. TLDR: the app adds an hour to your order even if you are already seated.
Maintenance all the time?

For the past month I haven’t been able to open the app regardless of how many times I uninstall and reinatall. Pretty angry considering I had gift cards in here. It says “essential system maintenance” whenever I try to open it.
Only allows Apple Pay.

Menus and stuff are fine. The app would not let me enter a credit card or use PayPal. Would only take Apple Pay.
App blocking VPNs

I like the food from Panera, but it has begun consistently blocking VPN connections, which makes ordering both a hassle and less secure.
Cut back on rewards, cut back on review rating.

I remember when they gave free sandwiches for rewards. Now, a dollar. Ain’t worth it anymore.
