Worst app ever

I wish i could give zero stars!! Imagine a baby monitor where the sound works maybe 20% of the time?? They are always “fixing the app” and it never changes. If your on the fence about buying DO NOT BUY THIS!!!


Love the camera but...

This app is great. I love being able to check on my LO while he’s sleeping in his crib. My one complaint is that the design of the home screen with the white and light blue background is too dang bright when you look at it at night. Sometimes I just want to take a quick peek at my baby in the middle of the night, but the screen hurts my sleepy eyes and staring at it wakes me right up so it takes me a long time to fall back asleep. I am writing this in the middle of the night because of this very reason. You should update the app to offer a night mode like YouTube has, or have the screen background colors automatically change to darker colors during night hours.


The app needs work.

The quality of the camera, sound, night vision, 2 way talking, and set up are very nice. The most important function of this device is the part we’re having trouble with, the app. It randomly decides to just stop working, direct shut down or freeze, but when the noise setting is on “background” it just randomly doesn’t play sound anymore. Kind of freaky at night when you wake up to your monitor not working, your kid could have been crying for who knows how long? I hope they fix the bugs in the app.


Using this for 2nd baby now

I absolutely can’t sleep without knowing this little foot sock is on my newborn. It gives unbelievable piece of mind and I highly recommend for all parents out there. Owlet customer service is also top notice too! The only feedback I have for the app is adding the ability to see weekly and monthly averages for o2 and bpm vitals. I love that you can see daily, but I’d like to see the averages over the week and month.

Monitor and sock do not connect to app

We’ve had this owlet for over a month now and only once has it connected to the app. I emailed and support said a fix was close and would be out in Jan. February is near and still no fix. It’s frustrating not being able to turn off the base from my phone if I’m bot able to get to it quickly. It’s frustrating for new parents not to be able to monitor their newborn. Please fix soon.

I love the idea/concept. However, my app has issues connecting to the base. So it’s hard to know what the stats on my infant are at a moments notice. The app/base connectivity really needs work. The sock/base works fabulously though. I just want to see the data!

Love my owlet when it works. I’ve been using it for 10 months now.. The app is down or not functioning properly at least once a week and my sock sensor had to be replaced under warranty only a few months in.. For a $300 product it’s pretty frustrating that it doesn’t work most of the time.


Sound malfunction

App crashing!

It’s IMPOSSIBLE to monitor child using the app if the sound skips and also when the sound completely shuts off not transmitting any sound at all from the camera to phone. This malfunction CONTINUOUSLY happens even after the updates to the app!!!


This app and its customer support are a joke

I should start by saying that as far as I know the base station and sock that I purchased do seem to work just fine. The app and the base station’s ability to connect to it have been a complete other story. I can try and set it up a hundred times but no matter what I do the app will always be “searching for base station”. Every time I get in contact with customer support they seem aware that this is an issue and only try and walk me through the app process like I’m 80 and don’t understand technology. If you have already purchased this device I just hope that the device works better for you than it did for us. Edit: now I have switched phones and can no longer use the app to begin with because I can’t log into my account and every time I try “forgot password” link I put in my email and get greeted with a prompt with something to the effect of “your email and/or password was incorrect”
