It’s okay

The monitoring of sats and hr is fine, the app is unreliable at best. It worked great for the first week we used it, now we haven’t received a complete nightly monitoring in days. It shows baby is awake every 20-30 minutes over a 10 hour period and nothing else (not at all accurate). The cost of the sock includes all the bells and whistles of the app but I’m not getting what I paid for.

Our baby boy was born 1/21/20 and this app is Easy to set up everything in 1 go....we got the sock and camera , haven’t set the camera up yet but the sock is amazing and keeps us updated on how he’s doing and is purposed to alert if the baby’s o2 drops below 80% and has a wide variety of features and is perfect for out little guy 10/10 would recommend to anyone
Audio issues

I am recently having issues with the camera audio going out after a few minutes. The app has worked fine for the longest time, but the past few weeks, when I leave the audio set to background, after a certain period, maybe around 10-20 mins, the audio muted and I have to force close the app to regain audio. It doesn’t matter if I have it set to background or just plain ON, it still does the same thing. I can’t figure out what’s going on

Owlet has given me and my husband peace of mind since the beginning (our baby is now 8 months old) since SIDS is a concern, but especially up to 4 months. We still put the owlet on her and rest assured knowing she is being monitored and we’ll be notified if anything is abnormal.
App rarely works

“App searching for base station” is the message i get almost every time I’ve tried to use this app with my smart sock. I’ve contacted customer service multiple times to no avail. Very disappointing.

Ever since you did your last two updates, the app isn’t able to connect to the base station. So we do not get any readings. We are connected to WiFi and we have called for support more than once and it has not worked. I will not be able to stay on the phone for two hours either. So the app was working before the last two updates so you should change it back.

The owlet works great. We have had a issue with the app working and the owlet customer service is not the greatest.

Wanna hear your baby at night? Well there’s a good chance the camera will drop sound and your baby will cry unheard. I’m running top of the line WiFi setup & have a dedicated iPhone just for monitoring and yet the sound cuts out. The app will randomly not chart or graph nightly sock activity. So if you’re looking to see how your baby slept it was awake you may find that there are 2, 4 or even 8 hour chunks missing from your report with zero history for the night. In 4 weeks this has happened 4 times now.

I would give zero stars if I could. This app hasn’t worked from day one. It constantly says “app searching for base station”. It never records any data and I can’t see the oxygen or heart rate for my child. On the rare occasion it gives me a reading, it gives me the exact same vitals each time... and it never changes. For something so expensive you’d expect it to work better. Customer services “fix” was to unplug the base from the wall every time I open the app... and even that doesn’t work. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
