Life Saver (Literally)

TashaP81

The owlet’s Red Alarm notified me when my son’s oxygen level fell below 80%. When I ran to his room I found him not breathing! If it wasn’t for the owlet I would have checked on him two hours later. I had JUST laid him down 20 minutes earlier and he wasn’t having any respiratory issues at that time. It’s expensive and hopefully you will never have to get your money’s worth...but is it worth the risk?

Our Owlet is amazing

If you want to sleep while your little one sleeps the Owlet is the way to go. You will not be disappointed.

Too glitchy

slmarchino

I’ve had this monitor since it came out. I loved the sock, so I thought this would be high quality and convenient to have access on my phone. The app glitches and crashes constantly. The sound doesn’t stay on all night when put in background mode. I’m so thankful that I had a different monitor when my daughter was a newborn. This thing would have made me a nervous wreck as a new mom. I fully recommend the smart sock, but there are way better monitors out there!

No report

Jensen is eh

The sleeping report is no longer loading. I have the latest update on both my iPhone and the app.

App Needs Work

Lydstar4

The Owlet camera is wonderful and when the app actually works it’s great, BUT the app doesn’t always work. The sound shuts off randomly or the entire app crashes especially in the middle of the night and a lot of times it is very slow to load. I wish the app was as good of quality as the camera, but unfortunately it is not. This app gives me more anxiety than it does peace of mind. I’d recommend trying something different until they get theirselves figured out.

Love and hate

Those the concept of this camera but the sound keeps going in and out. The only way to fix it is to close the app then reopen. That doesn’t even help for that long though. It’s so frustrating!

Accurate, Peace of Mind

We got the sock on sale during Black Friday after much debate since it was still pretty pricey- it was the best investment for our son. He got sick only a week after birth and was having severe congestion, we noticed his oxygen levels were dropping one night and took him to the ER. The doctors kinda brushed us off saying the sock “isn’t very accurate and causes parents to worry needlessly.” Then, sure enough, once he was examined he ended up being kept in the PICU for the next 4 days because his oxygen levels were low. Ever since he’s been home we’ve been battling congestion and the sock has been a lifesaver, literally. I love that I can monitor his heart rate and oxygen levels at home. I also really like the sleep tracker feature!

Ugh

The app doesn’t even work half the time. I have a baby that is an active sleeper so we thought if we could track her sleep on the app it would be worth the money to get. We got the monitor in June. I have called or chatted owlet at least once a month if not multiple times. The app hasn’t read my babies sleep activity in a month and when I chatted they told me I had to wait for an app update. They also told me unplugging and plugging the monitor back in would correct the issue. 7 out of 10 times it doesn’t. If you only want this monitor for its intended purpose and none of the extras they promise then sure buy it. But i wouldn’t recommend it.

Sleep peacefully knowing that if at any given time something is off or not right with your baby, the Monitor will alert you and wake you right up to tend to her... couldn’t live peacefully without it

Great app but major technical issues

CalPaulE

The app constantly crashes, the sound consistent goes out. Fix the technical issues and it will be a great app.
