Departure time on emailed flight itinerary and app were different

This is probably more of a critique on Orbitz as whole, but last night I was highly inconvenienced by Orbitz's unintuitive and inaccurate application and website. The Orbitz app, the Emirates flight tracker, and my Orbitz itinerary displayed conflicting departure times. The Orbitz app was telling me my flight departs at 7:40 am local time, while my Orbitz confirmation email is telling me it departs 4:10 pm local time. Likewise, the Emirates flight tracker is telling me the flight departs at 4:10 pm. I had to speedily rush to my departure city in case the departure time was in fact 7:40. This resulted in a very expensive international phone call in order to square things away, a quick booking of a hostel room for a night and unnecessary transportation fees. It was 100% error on the part of Orbitz which resulted in me spending around 100 dollars to fix.
Old version was great. New one is awful.

To say this new app is bad is a compliment. I am a platinum level Orbitz user because it used to be my go to for everything travel--app wise and online. They must have changed their systems but they ruined everything. There is no way to customize selections beyond what they limit you too. Airline booking is the worse. Use this to find the flight you want and then go to the airline site. You blew it Orbitz. You had a good thing.
Web site works for me, but app is frustrating

I get all the way to where it asks for payment confirmation before it tells me: can't process my payment information. I then go to their web site and do the exact same thing, and the purchase goes through immediately. Frustrating. While I'm a big fan of orbitz, for now the iPad app is too full of surprises and limitations.
New Version is Very Frustrating

The new version is pretty but has no depth. Very few options. No way to select morning/evening, etc on flights. Frequent flyer info didn't carry over or isn't being accessed when I book flights. Booked s flight for my husband and my Acct switched to his name. Not happy. Plus, I don't like it that my points expire.

They simplified this app so much in the last few updates. Booking a flight and a room is easy, plus they will save your card info if you so desire. Makes booking and comparing prices a snap!
Better off using full website

Is it just me or has this application gotten worse? Unless I'm missing something, I can't even price out airfare for multiple stops or choose the cabin type, i.e. economy as compared to business class. Orbitz is a great way to search for airfares, hotels and such, but you're better off using the full website and avoiding the app due to its limitations.

Just a deal app. Can't fetch flight that I purchased through Orbitz. Can't find flight number for trip, pointless unless you want flight deals that aren't that great.
