This app has been super helpful during my trips in Europe, you can plan ahead or just buy last minute tickets. I also love the fact that it gives you bus/train/flight options.
Train Canceled Due To Strike, But Can’t Get Refund

I have 12 train tickets (4 routes purchased for my husband, son and I) that have all been cancelled due to the strike in France. But, I have been unable to get customer service to respond with a refund. It’s completely disheartening - would NOT recommend this service. Wish I would have used the train service directly.
Stuck in France with zero support!

As many others have posted here, we are, too, stuck in France due to the SNCF railway strikes. Omio cheerfully reminds me to get to the train, which is of course, not departing. Zero info on any cancellations and not one of the Customer Support lines is responding. I was waiting for hours on all of their call lines and no one is picking up. I also emailed and haven’t gotten any response yet. Had to figure out own transportation at exuberant costs. I am now waiting to see how Omio will make this right, and save themselves from the very large and very negative social media response brewing.

The app is user-friendly, but NEVER book anything through their platform! Especially if you are traveling from US to Europe! If there is anything happened to your trains, they are NOT responsible for it at all!!! And their customer service NEVER pick up the call and HANG UP the call! Go to the legit SNCF app to save your life.
First & Last Time!

Purchased tickets & the app supposedly had my train tickets on my device! We were supposed to activate only on day of travel! Asked email support twice over TWO weeks, will I need WiFi access to pull tix? Twice & all I got will get to you soon! So went ahead w/ trip, activated on day of travel in Southampton & the bar code wouldn’t pop up! So we couldn’t use the electronic auto gates:( Lucky 4us we dealt w/ a lady agent (only one around) that decided to let us through as I showed her our info that we had indeed bought tix. In London cuz of a rail strike it was chaotic so we didn’t have to use the electronic gates to exit as again we got lucky & a security officer had a side gate open to let hordes of stressed people through! We were fortunate this time but the app w/out bar code is useless &won’t use again! You should have the ability to put tix on Apple Wallet! Until then I’m done w/Omio! Other apps available to try & avoid another potential fiasco.
