My favorite app was ruined by updates

The Office Depot app used to be my favorite. Truly. I often used the “in-store mode” to check prices of items while shopping. When I scan items now, I get the online price which is often VERY different. It also freezes and shows an inaccurate rewards total on my home screen. I would do just about anything to get my old app back. I used to shop in the store several times a week. Because of the changes in the app, I haven’t bought anything now in a couple of weeks. It really is ruining my in-store experience.
Fewer customer friendly features

Over the last year this app has gotten less customer friendly to use. One of the major features to be removed is support for Wallet Passes. It used to be that I could get my Wallet Pass for my account and another for rewards certificates, but no more. Now to take advantage I have to dig deep into the app to get them. Other longstanding issues are a badge on the my orders button that never goes away no matter which order I examine. Now using Apple Pay is problematic, it gives false errors about my phone number and zip code. The only way to buy anything is to restart the app before going to the convoluted payment page (which encourages you to buy the item BEFORE entering your coupon) and hope that fixes it.
Very poor tracking

Ordered a printer and estimated delivery was missed. Now two days late. Tracked the item on their page and the most specific they can get is "in transit". Called for service and put on terminal hold. I thought I would pay an extra five dollars to support them when Amazon had it cheaper, but at least Amazon knows how to ship and deliver

Can’t delete your credit card Can’t make delivery address changes. Feels like a nightmare I can’t get out of. I signed out but i no longer care to use the app. It doesn’t work properly.

All greatness of the app gone with the lastest updates. Menus are all greyed out and not able to open the menus properly.

I had an always exceptional experience at the copying service desk! It’s extremely rewarding to get some excellent customer service, when I find it rarely exists!!! Thanks Office Depot for continuing to hire good employees!!
