Too many permissions

This app has too many permissions and data collection that's not necessary. It also doesn't work with vpn.

Businesses have taken over this app by advertising their furniture, cars, and other items. I used to love getting on here to find good deals on used things people in my area had for sale. Now you have to wade through all the store ads to find anything. Not worth my time now.

To many scammers aloud on here. There is no controls in place. People are allowed to repost every day and clog up the pages.

This used to be my go to for buying and selling vehicles peer to peer but now MY GOODNESS it literally nothing but dealerships it’s impossible to find a private seller. Some of us are not interested in over priced stealership cars PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE create a filter!!!!! This is outrageous!

A lot of old listings from years ago are still displayed. Sellers tend to be unresponsive. The few that do respond seem flaky. Not too impressed with the app so far.
Blocking accounts for no reason

This is ridiculous I have reached out to OfferUp support on multiple occasions regarding my account being blocked. They replied saying I violated posting rules which they never specified what posting rules. I literally only lost furniture and clothes or shoes so what violation could I have made repeatedly. My husband also created an account and haven’t done anything to violate and have been blocked as well. This app used to be my favorite but OfferUp has become horrible and their customer support isn’t helpful. I keep emailing with no return email or support to clear this error. It’s crazy how a real person can get blocked but all these scams that are on OfferUp are still very much up and running.
