Ended up deleting this app. I don’t know why but every time I would message someone an offer to buy something I would never hear back. I was offering full price for the item too. Not a good way to buy used products
Please update it back to normal at least make it work

This application is notorious for scammers I would not recommend using it unless they control that issue. A scammer I met goes by the offerup ID: robert west or cody bokor. This person cash app ID is $codybokorlol. I ask the developer to please make this a safe purchasing environment. Don’t buy anything if the seller ask for PayPal or cash app. Buy only through the application. The developer needs a bot to moderate the sellers.

I’ve been using Offerup for a couple of years now. They have yet to include an add video option which is helpful on showing functionality of items that contain moving parts. There are also instances where one can get caught seemingly endless side scrolling. This scenario usually goes: message, see other items from seller, select item.

Please add the feature of allowing pictures to be sent through the chat. There are times when buyers request more pictures of a scratch or abnormality on a product that isn’t shown in the pictures clearly in the listed images, so more images are sometimes required for a more detailed view.

People are abusing this app. There is a lot of trash posts. A lot of duplicates. Some scams if you know what they look like. A lot of old accounts with old posts. It is sort of hard to look for things when you can’t see the price. Searching for items is not very organized because you will find tires and car parts in a category that is only made to view vehicles. It is all random. I still use it because it is just there at your finger tips but I do not like using this app. I wish that could be a moderator to fix what I see.
