Honestly, my indispensable connection to what is actually happening in the arts, culture, and political world. Every article is so articulate and well researched. It is a joy to discover what these writers are exploring, too often I sadly admit, on subjects I did not even know I was interested in.

I love my New Yorker subscription so much that I gave it to my father-in-law in Sweden for Christmas this year. You can imagine my joy when I realized so many of the articles are audibles! Can’t wait to show him this feature in a couple days.

If I could somehow get more Americans, millions more, to read The New Yorker from cover to cover the way I have for the last 30+ years, I honestly believe that we would; have fewer cases of racial hatred and distrust, fewer misogynistic male transgressions, more consistent and dependable health care for all, and someone else in the White House. Oh, and fewer people in prison. I’m just sayin’...no one covers the human intellectual and spiritual experience better or more broadly than the The NY’er.

The app used to save my place in the current article I’m reading, but now if I switch to a different article it goes back to the top and loses my place. Too annoying. I’m reading more on paper because of that.

The main problem is the app doesn’t remember where I was in each story. It used to. Very nicely. For years. Why not change back? Please.

I don’t recall earlier versions of this app having the following drawback: if I inadvertently swipe sideways while reading an article and then swipe back to return to the article I end up at the beginning of the article rather than where I was. Very annoying

Love the content, but if you accidentally swipe to next article you loose your location and go back to tip of the article. Would be nice if you stayed in the same few sentences.

Asking a long time subscriber to write a review of the New Yorker is like asking a squirrel to write a review of God’s works. Dear APP administrator, you gotta be kidding!
