The app is fine…when it’s not crashing

The app works fine and does what it’s supposed to do, except it keeps auto shutting down and logging me out. It’s annoying bc that only brand that it’s leaving my devices even more vulnerable bc I’m unaware that this is happening and only become aware after seeing a bunch of ads popping up while using the web.

Had for a couple of weeks. Then I rebooted my phone because it kept trying to connect when I didn’t want it to. Once phone rebooted not only would it prevent connecting to Wi-Fi but the app wouldn’t open after that. Deleted. Requesting refund.

I frequently have to pause service since several webpages and apps I use block Nord connections. When I select "pause for 30 minutes" the app will frequently pause for less than a minute, followed by saying that "vpn protection is now active". When I check the app to see what happened (all of this in less than a minute) I am completely logged out of Nord and have to re-enter my info. I have to manually go into apple password manager since somehow the coding does not recognize that this is a username/password field. Then Nord app requests to update my vpn settings as though it is a first time install. I do all of the above each time I want to check my bank, which is very annoying to me and a waste of time. I am not saying that all of this is Nords fault, however my experience so far is crap and I will be looking for an alternative.

Disconnects or doesn’t load

I have the app set to auto connect but for some reason it keeps Going back to default and I have to say auto connect. App doesn’t stay connected when banking. So frustrating but I pre paid until 2023 so I’m stuck. I have to make sure that the app is connected and sometimes I forget to check if it’s connected but it’s too late as I’ve done my banking already. Would have gave it a 1 star but it seems to work on my Laptop fine.

Flaky on older Macbook Pro 15-inch mid 2014

Frequently stops the internet connection and has to be disconnected and reconnected to start working again (up to 20 times/day). Ookla speed test fails every time with Nordlynx protocol. Randomly shows 2 instances of the NordVPN connection. I have already bought into this flaky VPN so I'll continue using it but I reccomend looking elsewhere for a more reliable VPN app.

Frustrating

I have had this app for over a year and find it frustrating having to turn it off and on all the time. It works fine on some sites but doesn’t work on many popular websites such as Netflix. Many sites block you if using this VPN.
