Im still learning but so far it has been super easy to use and understand. I love it has a graph to track my weight daily and tells me which foods are good, okay, and then bad. I love I can add foods too, but sometime find it difficult to add descriptions of foods and their calories. But adding foods I can read label of one item is very simple and then logging it again next time it just pops up. For example: Chicken Tinga (chipotle, tomatoes, onion, chicken season) on top a tostada (which has its own calories), refried beans, Parmesan powdered cheese, lettuce, lime, and sour cream. Adding them separately took a long time but if you don't then doesn't add up correctly, Im sure. But it is a motivating program so far and i cant wait to taste more recipes and lose this weight.

Recipes

NSG101

I have been cooking the recipes on the site. When I began I was still eating too many snacks and I gained another pound… but after nine days on the diet I have lost 5 pounds. The recipes are easy to cook and they are very yummy!!! Please keep adding recipes.. I will cook all of them over time. 5 pounds is not a normal weight loss, but I have lot of weight to lose.

Food logging

hdisndbsk

Hate the new update! Guess they are trying out something new for logging food and I’m not happy about it. They told me they are trying out quick logging which is not quick logging at all. It has made it so hard for me to log my food because it doesn’t give you all the unit of measurements that were there before. When I add a item and I need to do cups or something it’s not there so I have to figure out the conversion, which is so time consuming! I really hope that they don’t change it to this new style and they keep the old style!! But I love noom and that’s my only issue!

Concept is good but poor execution

For the cost and all the hype I would expect a curated and validated food Db. The courses are decent but the emphasis on food categories is hindered by the accuracy of their database. The so called coaches are of questionable value as well. Not sure this is worth the very high cost vs. the free alternatives.

Not accurate

Abaygael

The calorie information isn’t accurate when you input it. It isn’t accurate when it adds up your daily total. Coach takes DAYS to respond. Definitely not worth $50 a month.

Better than I could have hoped for

If you invest in the program you will figure out who you really are and lose some weight along the way. I really like the process. I feel better about who I am and where I am heasedes

Noom Heloed Me Get A Fresh Start

After a year on another popular program and eating way too many “ zero point foods” , Noom is helping me to learn portion control and how to stop my continual mindless eating. It is giving me real tools to see what I eat .

Love this app!!

lovinnoom

I have tried every diet. This one is the best. It is so easy and, the app is user friendly. It is so much easier to count calories...you know exactly what you are eating. Also the exercise part really helps when you need a few extra calories. The app itself has excellent tips and communication with the coaches really keeps me on track. Thanks Noom!!

Noom time

A lil upset

It’s been a tough go.. i plateau a lot.. but I am loosing slowly and I feel good. I enjoy the community. The lessons and the recipes. I like my coach, I’d like more contact but I’m sure she’s super busy so while it’s a good asset it could be more consistent.

Just another 1200 calorie plan

mju3712

I was really looking forward to this app, but once I started I realized it was just another 1200 calorie a day diet plan. For most people (including me) this level of calorie restriction is dangerous. The first two weeks I got incredibly lethargic, I couldn’t concentrate on work, I couldn’t sleep, and I was unhappy. Also, a lot of the “psychology” was very triggering for someone that has worked for years trying to avoid toxic diet culture thoughts. It’s also WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. Way more worth it to pay for therapy and get a free calorie counting app.
