I am really thankful for this app. After two babies (planned babies) I do not currently want to get pregnant but was done with hormonal birth control. The app is very easy to use (non-intimidating alternative to hormonal birth control) and has been very reliable and accurate (more than other fertility tracking apps where you have to do a lot of the work). I also love how thought through the internal messages are in giving me feedback about my personal cycle as well as providing great educational content.

Delay

There is a major delay with the touch. It’s only on this app. I touch things 4-5 times and after several more seconds it will respond. Really weird and disappointing. Not what I thought I’d be have to be concerned about. Idk if it’s because I’m only on the free trial but that shouldn’t effect the quality of the app or I won’t buy it. Really getting in the way of what the app is actually for.

There are some things I really like about this app; it’s user friendly, visually pleasing, and makes cycles easy to understand. However, I wish there were ways to enter in more data that could help you determine your cycle other than BBT. There are other apps that use cervical mucous and cervical position to help calculate your ovulation day (both of which can be very helpful in determining cycle patterns.) Other data that might be useful to be able to enter would be: pelvic pain, ovulation pain, weight, mood, stress amount, sleep amount, etc. With these additional symptoms you could start to see a trend that maybe be unique to you and your cycle. With some of these additional details I’d be more willing to pay the subscription price. Thanks!

At first was very nervous about trusting the app, but I’ve been using it for 18 months and I love it. I’m 32, and have been on and off the pill for 15 years. It works best when used diligently, and remembering to bring my thermometer when traveling has not always happened. However I recommend this app to anyone looking to stay off birth control, and also to anyone who wants to learn about their cycle and their body. Best decision ever.

There are plenty free apps that do the exact thing. They are a complete rip off. I will be filing with the better business bureau and then the Swedish equivalent konsumentverket if the refund after cancellation is not refunded. Their auto renew is theft! And the app isn’t that great. The thermometer is not bluetoothed to the app. Don’t waste your money! If I could give them less than one star I would for their horrible customer service. They state a refund is not possible. So nuts. Stay away!!!

Discovered this app and did some research before purchasing. This alternative to birth control is genius- point blank. Straightforward approach, the creators have done a great job of explaining how to take your temp first thing, love their IG page! I think my fave feature is the “notes” section, where I can track how I’m feeling that day and compare each month. My only complaint is that I wish there was a (better) way to know what phase of your cycle you’re in- the same way it lets you know whether or not you’re fertile for that day, wish it’d also inform you of the follicular/luteal/ovulation for that day as well...there’s the statistics page but that’s not easy to read/understand. Overall, if you get this app it takes some time and patience at first but it’s so worth it and freeing!

I have been doing this for almost a year starting a few months before my husband and I got married. I have never taken hormonal birth control because I never had any need for it. My cycle has been extremely regular since I was about 16 so I really didn't want to mess with that so I did a lot of research on options and nothing seemed to be without extreme side effects. When I read about Natural Cycles, I was so excited that something existed that would do everything I needed without having to mess with my body. It has worked so well! I have been so happy with this app and I am loving the journey of getting to know my body better. I am so happy with this system!

The overall look and ease of use is great. There are a couple of downsides in my opinion. 1. As others have previously stated the thermometer doesn’t have a light on it which makes it difficult to read. 2. The app is a pain to log into every morning. It would be great if I could click the app and instantly be logged in (like virtually all other apps) or at the very least have my login info auto saved so I can just click a button. Still on my first week of use, but so far so good.
