I love Natural Cycles

This app is great for me since I don’t want to use birth control. For those of you wondering if it’s reliable or not, as long as you are adding your data correctly and follow what the app says, you won’t get pregnant. This is also great to track your period if you have an irregular period like me. ?? Love this app!
Good app alternative to birth control

After 3 years of being on birth control, I was tired of putting hormones into my body. I was really glad when I found Natural Cycles as an alternative. Natural family planning has been around for decades, but it got a rap as not being very high-tech or accurate. I’m glad that Natural Cycles was created... it’s affordable, and it’s much better to take my temperature every morning (and learn more about my cycle!) than take a pill.

I love learning about my body and knowing when I’m ovulating not JUST so I can avoid or have protected sex but also because after years on birth control, I got off it at 25 and my natural periods disappeared and I thought my days of ovulating normally were done. The doctor said my ovaries were sluggish. I had no concept of what my real natural body was supposed to be like, it made me depressed. 3 years later I got my periods back (3 years people)! And then I fell in love. But I knew I couldn’t return to birth control and how badly it had messed up my body, plus I had just gotten back to being my normal period self again. Natural cycles has been the perfect solution for me and it fits perfectly with my lifestyle, and when it sent me the message that my cycle was within the realm of average I wanted to cry tears of happiness. My only wish is for the thermometer to be an IoT device, a smart thermometer which sends the info directly to your phone. Maybe it’ll even have a soft alarm to remind you to take your temp one day. Just imagine! Either way I love this app and am so glad I have it. Thank you ?

I have been using Natural Cycle for almost 3 months and I really like it. I’m learning so much about my cycle. I have been on birth control or an IUD for decades. I feel amazing to not have hormones in my body. By taking my temperature (when I remember- that the hardest part) and tracking, I’ve learned so much about my body’s natural rhythm.
