2 hours on the phone...but finally!

and still waiting for the “team” to call me back within 3-5 days with a solution after they troubleshot it. This app works 10% of the time and the rest of the time it times out and does nothing but tell you to call support. I was always 6’ from my wifi router and 25’ from the car looking at it on my porch, so I had good connectivity. I did call “support” and after explaining the problem I was told, “This has never happened before.” BS, the “team” must not read any of the reviews here. Update: A few days late but the Team fixed the problem. Everything works fine now in my Santa Fe 2019.

What a step back

My last 3 cars all had remote start capability. I could start the engine from great distances just by reaching in my pocket, hitting the button on my key fob and I would arrive to a car that already cooled, warmed, defrosted whatever the case call for, and I would have up to 15 minutes to get to my car. Now enter Bluelink First off, remote start on the key fob only seems to work if I’m right at my car already. Through the app....,well first it takes the app about 30 seconds to open, then I have to lock the car, press button, enter pin and wait close to 2 minutes. Then press start, enter pin and wait another 2 minutes. How is this supposed to be productive. 5 minutes is way to long.

It’s a good system, don’t pay attention to poor reviews.

I think a lot of the bad reviewers don’t understand the system. One reviewer forgot their FOB inside the car and left a one star review because Blue Link would not start the car. Really? You can’t even lock your car manually if you’ve left the FOB in the car. Anyway, the system works fine. Just understand how it works and you’ll be fine. I should also note that I recently upgraded from a 2017 Hyundai to a 2019. Without a doubt the 2019 responds noticeably faster with Blue Link requests.

Cool Service, Terrible Implementation

Jlatino96

From a Project Management perspective, I have no idea who thought it would be okay to have such a useful car feature be muddied by such a low-quality application. Features work about 4/5 times. The UI is clunky and unresponsive. It looks like some corners were cut to make the application multi-platform, and the execution was just botched

Complete Garbage!

FEFE&NUNU

Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time. The app and service is complete garbage

Worthless

audreyruth209

This app always takes forever to load. Remote start for my car never works. I’d never pay for this crappy service. 2 thumbs down!

Very limited functionality

caffetlt

Wowza... I guess everybody agrees 1.9 stars is terrible and embarrassing for Hyundai. I guess I would have to agree with the majority of the people. Cannot set temperature in the app. On the map function only tells you if your car is within 1 mile. Kind of worthless. It is very slow performance wise. Service is choppy and app crashes. There’s just nothing worth any value. Don’t bother

Why are you downgrading the app?

Thewall Barad

Earlier front defroster turning option was available when you start with blue link and then you removed it? You should add more features instead of removing features!!! I am really disappointed!!! Not good.

Remote start is a joke

DustyV600

I’m sure this app is good if you’re into logging car care and what not, but the remote start works maybe 5% off the time. You can literally stand next to your car and activate it with a full cell signal and nothing will happen

Even worse functional and fewer features !

montegobay408

Boo to Hyundai. Decent car but terrible interface. It has gotten worse. 1. Status has to be manually updated. So to manually charge, u have to get a new updated status, because it will still show charging from last update. 2 Prev version showed status of car doors locked. U could remotely lock. That seems to be gone now. A new lock symbol is there and it seems they broke it out as a separate service. Not much explanation. The charged miles does NOT match the dash monitor. 3. Why can’t I have a weekday and weekend charging schedule ? I can understand maybe the car has a cell phone to use for this interface and there’s a cost. but quite ridiculous that the app has gotten worse ! Wake up Hyundai !
