I just got a new iPhone 12 and the myGMC app won’t won’t. Love the car but this app is not Cool

As of 10/29/20: app does not work with ios14.1. Completely bricked the app. GM: please. For all that’s Holy, beta test and halfway debug your app BEFORE releasing updates. This is such a common problem for this app. Works fine -> GM releases update -> bugs appear/ app gets clunky-> another update. Figure it out.

The app is no longer working it says that it’s being handled by a third party app and might have malware I tried on two different phones. Please fix this bug and then I will update my rating.

Here is the error: “ The connection between this app and the myGMC service is being unexpectedly rerouted by a 3rd party process and has been discontinued. This could be the result of a legitimate network setting on your device, a temporary change on the myGMC service or malware on your device. If the issue persists, please uninstall this app and install the latest version from the app store.”

Error Message on Start up....

Every time I try to start the app today I get an IOS 14 error message saying that “the connection between this app and the mygmc service is being unexpectedly routed through a 3rd party process that has been discontinued....please retry or reinstall the latest version from the App Store” I have done both, retry and delete and reinstall with the same error message....help! :-)

What happened to this once useful app??

I have been utilizing this app for the past 3+ years and found it helpful with monitoring aspects of my GMC vehicles. All of a sudden the app does not work and a message pops up saying it has been handed over to a new 3rd party company. I tried deleting and reinstalling but that doesn’t help. It’s disappointing when a good thing goes bad! What happened to this useful app??

App no longer functional

App stopped working today, with an error message that says it’s been discontinued. No email support link is available. I really liked the remote start feature. Looks like GMC just left us all in the dark.

Had my vehicle for 3 weeks and the app was working, but when I woke up this morning to remote start my vehicle, the app wouldn't open and have me the following msg: "The connection between this app and the myGMC service is being unexpectedly being rerouted by a 3rd party process and has been discontinued. This could be the result of legitimate network setting on your device, a temporary change on the myGMC service or malware on your device. If this issue persists, please uninstall this app and install the latest version from the app store" I uninstalled and reinstalled but it is still giving me the same error. I didn't change any setting because I opened the app the night before bed to ensure my vehicle was locked and the app worked fine, something happened overnight and now it's not working.

IOS 14.1 and now can’t log in

Ever since I upgraded to IOS 14.1 I can no longer log into this app. I get an error message saying “the connection between this app and the myGMC service is being unexpectedly rerouted by a 3rd part process.” I get this message on my iPad as well.
