Ugh.... where to begin

They need to hire some strong women to pick films.... there a lot of old super male centric classics... they charged my credit card even though I was supposed to have a free trail and I can't figure out how to cancel my subscription... also often the films have some streaming error and it doesn't have to do with my internet connection cause Netflix works perfectly

I’m forever thankful for MUBI for providing access to increasingly hard to find cinema from feature-length narrative films from across the globe to great documentaries and experimental shorts. The curation and special series are always well thought out and have introduced me to new directors that have since become some of my favorite filmmakers. In a perfect world, I would love the option to pay a higher subscription rate and not have the films disappear after 30 days, but the transient nature of the films presentation adds something to the way I watch the films, so maybe that’s just part of MUBI’s magic :)

Is this the way to run a company? Every time one writes them, one gets this response: - (UPDATE - without getting an actual response to my emails - the response by the developer below is exactly the same GENERIC one I have received (more than three weeks ago, making their potential answer irrelevant). Even if your film selection is unique, HIRE MORE PEOPLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS or you will lose them. “Thank you for contacting us. We're currently experiencing increased traffic of messages. However, your message has been received, and someone from our support team will get back to you as soon as possible. Making sure you have the best possible experience is a top priority for us. We must thank you for your patience, and we'll be in touch shortly!“
No clear way to cancel

I’d like to cancel my subscription but can’t. The terms and conditions say to click on subscription under settings on the app, but it is not clickable. And there is no way to contact customer service on the app.

They may not always be titles you're familiar with, but they have been selected with such care and intelligence that if you are a film lover you can't go wrong. And the concept of the app itself is pure genius.

I love watching films using the phone app. My computer died n I worried my 8.99 went to waste but wow the phone is actually now my preferred way to watch and I love the curation of content. Thank u for the big moods MUBI.
