Great selection, solid app

The collection of films is consistently great. The app works perfectly well on Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad. I’ve seen several interesting films that I couldn’t have seen elsewhere.
Terrible customer service

I only downloaded and signed up for this app to watch The Inertia Variations but it wont play. Instead, Mubi say they have other movies to watch. Bait n switch? Why no answers or feedback? Atleast tell me its not available in the states, anything dont just ignore.

Need English subs on non-English language films. Please. Update: The problem seemed to be running the MUBI app through my Samsung SmartTV--no English subs offered on foreign-language films. However, running the app through my Blu-Ray player works and subtitles appear. Not sure why, but problem solved. Thanks.

Too many very old films it won't work anymore in my iPad and phone only says server error all the time ! :-( maybe keep it for a very little more time it's annoying!

Great App, needs subtitle options

Typically impressed by the thoughtful and interesting movies that are selected. Way better than Netflix for those who want quality over quantity. My only complaint though is that you can't turn off subtitles which can be a huge annoyance/distraction. Quite surprised that Mubi overlooked that aspect which detracts from the otherwise refreshing experience of solid and thought provoking films.

Wanted a replacement after Criterion left Hulu. This is even better. Mubi has so many really good foreign films I would never have considered watching. I wasn't aware of what I was missing.
