A lot of potential but...

Great concept, Great execution, but needs better quality control. Basically a curated selection of the sort of smaller films you'd never find on Hulu or Netflix, which is a great idea in theory, but the selection of films I've viewed so far has been underwhelming. Lots of the sort of films that you would see at a festival out of competition.

They hook you in for one month and then keep charging your card even after you cancel. Impossible to reach them by phone because the number is always busy. Save yourself some grief and avoid like the plague.
Thoughtfully curated, easy to choose

Never overwhelming, this app is perfect for anyone who wants to watch repertory and current programming that’s often undermined or little known, but isn’t overflowing with options. My only dislike is that I’ve missed a lot of films that expired after their 30 days on the app, but having some sort of alarm system (maybe being able to select films you want a countdown reminder for until it leaves?) would have been helpful. I may still have missed the films, but at least it would have felt like I had tried to catch them. Super user-friendly app and sleek in design too. I love this streaming platform.

Terrific service & movie editorial unlike any other. App is frustrating in that there is no way to access films to review them or see one,s reviews or ‘want to see’ list; one has to open in browser & sign in to do this.

I love to check MUBI just after midnight Pacific time to see what gem is in store for the day! These films have greatly expanded my understanding of other cultures and the “other.” These films answer my longing for beauty and connection..the intersection of all that we share as feeling, searching “others” on a journey to find one another and the hopes that we share...

You never know what you’ll find on MUBI but it’s always a rewarding viewing experience. Friction-free offline viewing is the way all SVOD sites should work. This app was designed with the User in mind, and you just gotta love that.
