TURN OFF THE CLOSED CAPTIONING

The app works, but there is no way to turn off the CLOSED CAPTIONING. please fix.

After selecting provider, the app sits on a blank screen and does nothing.

This is the worst app in the entire store for a major news outlet, by far. Videos won’t play, even using high speed WiFi. And forget about the app’s “special clips, interviews, and behind the scenes video” that the app supposedly includes, because they don’t exist. All this app has is the ability to watch entire episodes of their programs and those don’t even play most of the time. Love MSNBC, but their app must have been developed and maintained by a collection of has-beens that never were. That, or the company just don’t care
Unable to close closed captions

Every video has closed captioning automatically on, and I’m unable to close it out/turn it off. Tapping the closed caption button doesn’t have any effect. Can this be fixed? If so, I’d be happy to update my review. The videos in the app run smoothly for me and, unlike the poorly designed NBC News app on my Roku, all the shows are accessible (for some odd reason, both Last Word w/ Lawrence O’Donnell and All In w/ Chris Hayes are not available on the nbc news app). Thanks, hope your listening.
App works well using cell phone
Goldens are Great
I appreciate the on-demand option that allows me to watch shows I missed on TV. The videos work well using my cell phone with wi-fi, but not with my larger devices. Hopefully, the video issue can be improved.
