Even thou I am logged into my cable provider, when streaming live it says I am not an authorized user and shuts down. Emailed my complaint and they said they are aware of the problem, but still not fixed. Apparently they don’t care.

i never rate apps, but this was the most pathetic thing i have ever seen. right out of the gate it did not work. video can only be described as hazy, blurry. really could not even get it to play for more than a minute or two. there is no excuse for this..

This app does NOT live stream. The app NO longer live streams. It used to live stream. The app only plays back recordings.

We love MSNBC but the app it never air plays properly, video lags and cuts out constantly. Now the app is telling me I don’t have access to the channel when I can watch without any issue with my same cable login online. Really wish MSNBC would finally add an app to Apple TV and a station to Roku.

Your app is awful! Love msnbc. Love Maddow. Your app rarely works. It’s so frustrating to be in the middle of a show and then the app crashes. It’s been weeks of this. I can’t believe you can’t fix it. CNN app has no problem.

App constantly fails. Quality wildly varies minute to minute mid stream. Content is updated without method, and sometimes not updated at all.

I can’t comment on the quality of the app, I will say it’s a nice looking app. But, I refuse to upgrade my TV service simply to use MSNBC‘s app. Some kind of option should be available to non-subscribers. At the very least, there should be a better trial option then allowing people to watch three episodes. Total. That’s right, MSNBC will give you a month to watch a total of three episodes. Wow, thanks for throwing a few crumbs at us. At the very least, offer a one day pass to allow people to really try it out.

I use my Apple TV to watch TV, and it would be much easier if there was an Apple TV app for MSNBC, so I wouldn’t need to use AirPlay every time I want to watch MSNBC. Otherwise good app

Terrible Update

I logged into my Directv Account as required by the MSNBC app and it verified my Directv. Then it states my TV subscription does not include this channel. But I do have MSNBC with my subscription. I even sent email to support a few days ago with no response. Obviously, their latest update has a really bad bug in it because I never had problems with this app until now.
