Couldn’t use it

ManTits

Bought this app because I have a book in mp3 format in google drive. Trying to import it had been janky as can be. I select all 100 files and then hit done and nothing happens. So I try open and nothing happens and then the app stalls.

Playback

Nick56d

With the update the playback speed is not working any more.

Love Audiobooks?

Then use this app. It is by far the best and easiest app in iTunes. Love It.

Play back speed

Play back speed stopped working after the latest update. Can this get addressed ASAP?

Basic, simple.

Ladder343

I chose this over so many others because it’s simple and it does what I need. Background playback, play while phone is locked and resumes play once you reopen the app. I’ve had no issues with this app. 10/10 would recommend.

Perfect except for a couple of minor bugs

flowerlily1

This applications is nearly perfect. Ever since two updates ago, whenever the playing gets interrupted, the last place I was in, does not save. Also, when a new chapter starts, the chapter number gets repeated. Other than that, this is the best application I’ve found. Great interface and features. Keep up the good work.

Love the app - feature request

Theno1patrick

I love this app and it meets all my needs. Is there any way to connect this to a subsonic-like server for audiobook download instead of needing to connect through iTunes or the web-interface? When I use this away from home, I’d like to connect to my server instead of using other apps. Also, I’d like to see an option which allows streaming to Chromecast. When I click the broadcast logo, only Apple devices show up. Aside from those two minor requests. It’s a great app and worth paying for!

Speed issues fixed, but sound is now off

Ucf728

With the new equalizer and presets, all the sound is more distant and tinny, on any setting or no particular setting. Please add back in a “not messed with” setting.

Issue with new iphone and Google Drive

JZRLQTX

I will change the review if this issue is addressed. The support email does not work so I must write here. Mp3 Audiobook Player Pro on new generation iphones lost functionality with Google Drive when you click + then Import, there is no option to find Google Drive anymore. This basically ruins the player for my friends and I. Can you look into it and I will return the review to great? Thank you

Simply better than all other audiobook players

mrbass.org

Update July 2019: Oleg has took out the title name to the m4b chapters. It really is perfect now at least to me. So now m4b chapters are no longer obfuscated and are clearly shown. Fantastic. Original Review June 2019: I’ve tested I believe most audiobook players. This one has the most features and is well thought out. Shows chapter remaining and also whole audiobook % and time too. Shows size and duration with progress meter for each audiobook in your library. Has m4b chapter support but shows path and doesn’t scroll. I wish it gave us the option to turn off paths so we can read the chapters. Sure you can rotate it to landscape but still only shows 2 chapters at a time. So it’s a pain when you have 300 chapters to quickly navigate to a particular one. To get books you can either open each m4b file from a cloud service like OneDrive or a WebDAV server. Another way would click WebDAV share and multiple transfer folders at once to your iPhone. Another way is iTunes file sharing or in ios13 Finder file sharing. What this app can’t do is stream. VLC can and has m4b chapter support. It can resume but only can listen to one audiobook at a time otherwise you’ll loose your position and doesn’t have bookmarks. KyBook 3 can also stream but is unrealizable for audiobook playing. Half the time it doesn’t work. Does have m4b chapter support. Best streaming one is EverMusic either use the free version (no folder downloading) or $3 pro version. It doesn’t have m4b chapter support and doesn’t really work for listening to many audiobooks at once even if added to a playlist. Mostly an MP3 player for music. But can batch download m4b audiobook files and then subsequently import them into MP3 audiobook Pro player. Or you can ‘Open In’ one at a time. This makes it easy to stream quickly and see if you wanna download your audiobook or not. So overall I don’t see this changing anytime soon. Definitely this is the best audiobook player as of mid-2019. It can’t steam and doesn’t easily let you look at your m4b chapters completely obfuscating them but it does so many other things well. Bravo.
