The purpose of this app is to make listening to audiobooks in MP3 and M4B formats easy and convenient!
There are lots of websites with all kinds of audiobooks dubbed by professional actors and enthusiasts. Most of such audiobooks are distributed as folders with multiple MP3 files.
I'm, the author of the app, listen to audiobooks all the time. Therefore, I did my best to make MP3 Audiobook Player a tool that has everything necessary to make this process intuitive and convenient.
• Plays MP3 and M4B (without DRM protection) audiobooks.
• Adjustable playback quality (0.5x to 2.0x).
• The book cover is loaded from an image file in the book’s folder or from an embedded image from an audio file.
• Automatically saves the current playback position for all audiobooks.
• Jump to any file (can be enabled in settings).
• Supports standard headphone controls.
• Supports Apple Watch.
• Playback control from the Control Center and Block screen.
• A sleep timer with adjustable sleep periods or sleep after the end of the current chapter.
• Possibility to add/remove books through iTunes and from the computer via Wi-Fi
• Support WebDav for adding audiobooks directly from Explorer on PC or from Finder on MacOS

This update, 1.119 seems to have fixed the recent problems. It’s now working again like the app I have used for the past year. This is again the best audiobook booker out there.

I have used both the a android and Apple versions and been very happy with it. But the last release is not saving my place consistently Takes me to beginning of book As of Version 1.119.14241 Pro Version app seems to be working again saving the correct position. However, now if I pause the app it starts again on its own. If I force close the app it continues to play. Seems like it’s not removed completely. I have to turn volume down to zero to make sure it doesn’t keep playing

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Remembers your spot, bookmark capability and you can easily add your own audiobooks. Been using Oplayer and VLC, which were never meant to be used for audiobooks.
Good functionality with a critical flaw

This is so far the best audiobook player I’ve been able to find for iOS. Some of the major bugs have been worked out over the last couple of years. That said one critical bug remains, namely that if the app closes as a result of iOS running out of RAM, while the app sits in the background, the app loses the playback location, and upon reboot will start the audiobook over again. This is really annoying, when you are playing a single 30 hour mp3 file, and have no idea where within it you left off. If this bug is fixed, I’d increase my review to 5 stars.

Still terribly buggy

Every time I try to load bookmark, book restarts, every time I try to skip or seek, app gets confused and either back to beginning or randomly goes to a non bookmarked random spot. Trying to select a chapter and restarts book over and over. I don’t know who is having luck w this, I used it about 8 hours a day til recently. Used for thousands of hours, mostly was good, but random bugs throughout total use and now it’s unusable. Hire some real devs thanks. It’s an effin MP3 player w bookmarks how hard is this.

На часах (5 поколение) виснет намертво. Даже как пульт управления часы работают через одно место - на часах показывает паузу, а на телефоне вовсю играет. Скачет от главы к главе, переключение между главами глючит. Разочарован. Почему бы автору не загрузить книгу прямо на часы и с них воспроизводить? Вот подкасты так уже умеют от сторонних авторов. А так получается Apple watch здесь только как пульт, который к тому же еще и не работает.
