I have been using this app on many generations of iPhones with it becoming must have app for me. It has all the features I can think of and need for listening to audio books. App Update after new iOS versions causing app problems has been fast.

Love this app but....

I absolutely love this app. Have used it for years and watched as it matured feature by feature, and minor facelift by facelift. REQUEST: if it is possible to write a a few audiobook to the watch itself. I would be very very happy. USE CASE: When I jog, Or go out for a run I leave my phone at home while connecting my AirPods directly to my watch. I would be thrilled if this type of feature could be implemented.

The audio distortion at increased speed is fixed in this version if you choose Classic audioengine in the settings. You can choose between Classic to have increased speed but no equalizer function or in Universal you get the equalizer but no increased speed option.

Please fix formats

My app was working last night but now it won’t let me listen to it on any of the formats. All 3 formats are saying it is unsupported. Please fix! Otherwise it’s a great app!!

I love this app. I had 1 complaint I kept to myself, It’s hard to get a book cover image. I just uploaded a book, went to edit to add an image and there a new feature that found it for me on the internet. The developer(s) are awesome! Thank you!

I’ve tried many different players and this one is my favorite. I have zero music on my phone, but dozens of books. I really like the wide range of configuration options available in Settings. The Stats are nice too. I’m editing out complaints from an earlier review because the developer has resolved the issues I was having, so thanks much for that! This player really rocks now!! A couple feature requests please? I’d like to be able to annotate my books inside the player. Let’s say I’ve really enjoyed a book or maybe want to do some further research later on a topic mentioned in a book. It would be awesome if I could add a note (“keep this book for re-listen”....”look up this area on a map”....write my congressman about____”...). If I could tag a book with a colored dot, I could assign categories to the colors (green for “Great book”, red for “terrible book”, yellow for “do more research on this”...). 1). Further still, the ability to add actual text notes would be tremendously useful. I’m usually doing yardwork/housework while listening so it’s not easy to stop and make notes outside the app. 2). Being able to add categories to my books in the app is nice but since categories don’t persist once I’ve removed the last book in a category I’ve created, it becomes too onerous to keep recreating categories all the time. Can you make them persist please? If it helps you sell more full versions, you might consider making these more advanced features part of the paid version. Thanks for reading

The app is generally great and it’s one of the only things that does all of what it does. However there are some annoyances. It randomly loses its position or thinks it’s paused when it’s actually still playing so that if you hit the play/pause button it will jump back to whenever the glitch occurred instead of pausing. It will also randomly stop playing at the end of chapters. It does not play well with the lock screen pause button or remote pause buttons. The only way for it to reliably pause where you want it to is to unlock your phone, open the app, and hit the pause button in there. Otherwise the behavior is unpredictable.

Great—when I can load from Dropbox :(

I like the app but using Dropbox to load my audiobooks is a key reason I like this app. The problem is that 90%of the time I get an error that says something like “cannot connect with the helper application”. Otherwise it’s great-when I can get my Audiobooks loaded.

I and my wife are very happy with this audio book player. The app has many helpful features, and the support staff gave me a rapid response when I reported some issues I was experiencing. We use the app with MapMyWalk while we walk or run in a local park, and the two apps work well together.
