Simple, beautiful, works across all Apple devices

Being able to sync my maps across my MacBook, iPad and iPhone seamlessly is a killer feature. Plus the app is so easy to use.

Excessively buggy

I love Mind Node 4 and still use it extensively. This version: been trying it for a couple of weeks, however, it crashes literally 97% and I can not make any use of it much less get anything done. Hopefully future versions can work out these issues as I’m anxious for an upgrade - the new features look nice.

Good

Good.

Phenomenal

Read the title in a Steve Jobs voice... anyways this app has literally changed my life for the better. Something I’d like though is the ability to create notes in the app for the nodes with the Apple Pencil, being able to handwrite my notes instead of typing!

impressive

@pavi

very well designed and implemented. thank you!

Great app with some frustrating saving issues

This is a fantastically designed app and incredibly useful. I use it to make study guides for my classes and like taking screenshots of material and pasting them into notes under each node. Unfortunately, despite supporting this functionality, MindNode doesn’t want to actually save the images, and I’ll reopen a file later on only to find that all of the images are gone. 90% of my information that I’ve spent hours curating is suddenly missing. UPDATE: Thank you to Mindnode support for clarifying what was happening. Mindnode is not actually supposed to support images inside of the comments, which is why it wasn’t saving. This is unfortunate, and I hope you guys will consider adding that kind of functionality in the future if it’s possible (or maybe a LaTex editor!). But with that said, this is still a wonderful app and I will definitely continue using it, even if it’s just slightly less useful for my specific purposes.

was a great app, so I paid for it...then it wouldn’t let me open anything

danielle_lyra

spent a lot of time making different mindmaps that are helpful and it’s a wonderful app, so when the free trial expired I bought the full thing - it would be well worth $15 for me...but the second I bought it I now can’t open anything. So it’s basically a scam.

A joy to use

I’ve tried using this in the past but always fell back on iThoughtsX. I liked the extra power iThoughts gave me. I would write a lot of notes in things, lots of images, lots of links, and the exporting of this in iThoughts was great. But MindNode kept getting better. And better. And this version is simply amazing. It is actually FUN to use. There is a lot of use of the force touch in iOS that I find useful on the iPhone X. I can force touch on something and see a floating note if there is one. The outline view is simple and easy to use. I was playing around with sizes of nodes and saw a little purple dot handle that allowed me to resize the box. What was best was that going to the minimum size switched the box size to “auto”. And I can easily apply style changes to the map. Sharing is super easy as well. This app has become a vital piece of my thinking/working set. I love elegant and well designed software. Thank you for putting so much love into this.

Wonderful!

Absolutely what I needed to visually break down projects!

Elegant + Powerful Update

Tao-ish

MindNode 5 is a huge leap forward in iOS mind mapping ease of use. The user interface is ultra responsive, snappy, intuitive and it gets out of my way while it syncs beautifully across devices. What more could I ask for? Well, I don't have to, because Mind Node is actively updated and it's also not another subscription-based app. Thank you. That pleasant surprise lead to an easy decision to buy both iOS and MacOS versions.
