Great app

Excellent app, my only request is collaborative features!

Buy it

Rebecca Ruano

You can only use this app if you buy it or utilize the 2-week trial then buy it. If you just want to use the basic app without the trail, all you can do is look at it. Deleting now. Thank you.

Don’t do free upgrade

Bob 1649375

I upgraded using the free option for Mindnode 4 purchasers. It allowed me to update, and I expected to be able to use the app. Now all of my documents are locked and I cannot edit them without paying to upgrade. And I can’t downgrade to mindnode 4. This is unacceptable. You tricked me into upgrading by making me think I qualified fo a free upgrade sine I had purchased 4 previously, but really all that happened is my paid app was replaced by the free version that makes me do a free trial or purchase. Completely unacceptable.

Suggested Features

Indispensable app for planning and visualizing

richbajo

I picked up the mind mapping practice from a productivity podcast (AE) I listen to. I ended up trying out a few of the mind mapping apps on the store and settled on MindNode because it’s available on all of my devices, it’s available natively, and it’s darn beautiful. I originally used MN to map out and prioritize goals for a “12-week year” sprint I was doing (also a recommendation from the podcast). I’m a visual thinker and learner (like most people), so it was instrumental in helping me to decide which of my goals would have the most impact. They make it so easy to move things around and enter new thoughts. The tool just gets out of my way and lets my mind run free. I’ve since expanded my use of MN to include doing book summaries to make sure I remember and implement what I read, longer term planning by putting a parent node for each quarter of the year, trip planning, and just about anything where I just want to brainstorm and see what ideas come up. Using MindNode alongside my BestSelf journal, Omnifocus, and a wall calendar, and I can accomplish anything I set my mind to. Great job, MindNode, great job! Keep up the fantastic work!!!

Great app

Love the app. Have been using it since version 4 and I recently upgraded to 6. Great app and love the new features. However in future updates please add support for one hand gestures for zooming in and out. A good solution would be the tap and slide gesture that both Apple maps and google maps use. Having to pinch to zoom in and out is sometimes inconvenient on the iPhone. Keep up the great work. Thanks!

Cannot think without it.

I love this app. This works the way I think.

Not signing up for a trial to even use the basics of the app.

Not signing up for a trial via the App Store to even use the basics of the app. Good try.

My go to app for small projects

Mind mapping is perfect for the way I think and MindNode is “elegant in its simplicity”. As as powerful, intuitive, and easy to use as I need it to be. Occasional I’ll export a mindnode to Things (a GTD app), and that comes in handy too. If you like to stay organized I recommend MindNode. By the way, the Mac version is great too.

Very Quick to Use and quick access to features

CJBPM

I have used this app and another almost equally as much, and found this one to be slightly better. It is responsive, and I can keep up with quick paced meetings. The design options are fine, albeit limited, but manual layout is a charm. There is one oddity. You can adorn your topics with stickers. Other mind maps do this as well, but the collection of stickers for this app is, well, TERRIBLE. They are ugly (childish) and most of them have NOTHING to do with business. Carrot, apple? No printer, nothing for teams or collaboration and NO QUESTION MARK or other punctuation. It seems odd that such a good program in other areas in so awful in this one. That is why it only gets four stars instead of five.
